You can ask silly questions sha! No be you go pay yourself gratuity, pension , HMO and whatever inside the 500k? So long as you could do it for a while before the job divorces you, na 500k sure pass

when you work with the govt, there are chances of you being a departmental head, director etc. dont forget, that comes with a bigger salary.
some govt departmental heads earn big too. so take that into consideration too.

It doesnt matter. Government workers are poorly paid in this country. Before you attain the said "departmental head, director etc" you must have spent many years in service living from hand to mouth.

A young single man earning 500k per month have a better chance of investing his accumulated capital in a choice business that could later turn to a company or billions. He can decided to save for few years and start investing in Shares or Treasury bill.

My mum is a director at the Ministry of Health and she doesn't earn 500k. Don't get it twisted

Cos am actually refering to federal. I dont know much about salaries thats actually why am posting this

Lagos State. Federal pays more but it still can't be up to that 500k
