'AKWA UNITED ATTACKED IN KANO

This is what Kano pillars fans have done to Akwa United after the Uyo based clubside defeated their team 0-1 in at the Sani Abacha Stadium
The photos show Coach Effiong Moses (MON)
He was part of the Nigerian Male Senior National team that won the Nations Cup title for this country in 1980.
The fans threatened to beat up the Referee while some of the hostile fans threw stones, sachet water into the pitch. Players and officials of Akwa United had to be locked inside the dressing room, while waiting for security reinforcement before they were ferried out of the stadium.
This should earn Kano Pillars heavy sanctions from the LMC, including banishment to a neutral ground'

There is a very good thing about this story. Firstly I empathize with the away team after expending their energy and getting an away win in a hostile environment and still went through this kind of treatment.
This shows that our league is growing, No longer home game is a win. The LMC should please immediately without delay do the needful. There is no place for violence in our beautiful game, I propose all kano pillars home game should be played in Lagos pending when LMC are sure that their fans can behave properly.
