Have the Isokos on this thread (many of them for that matter) come out to say otherwise?

You are also a bigot like that baby124 so I won't even open your page and humour you.

Take your hatred elsewhere.

As for Warri, Urhobos, Itsekiris and Ijaws all know their areas in Warri. Urhobos occupy Warri South LGA traditionally, so I don't know what you mean by the fact that it has grown larger to cover neighbouring tribes?

Have you heard of Agbassa-Warri? Okere-Urhobo? Are you aware that these places are the location of the MAIN Warri city? This is not even with Uvwie (another LGA), Udu (another LGA) and Okpe (Osuba-another LGA)!

Have the Itsekiris come out to say otherwise on this thread? Why are you now speaking for them? Isn't that bigotry from a supposed NL Mod?

As for the Urhobo-Isoko compounding, I did it to carry Isoko along. Urhobos have been known to be the 5th largest ethnic group in Nigeria (see Ojaruega 2014). With or without Isoko, our numbers stand. I am an advocate of Isoko unity, which the ISOKOS SUBSCRIBE TO AND HAVE NOT REFUTED! I can as well leave them be as I have done in my previous topics!

Lol, I you have finally come to my point that they live in the SW. But the greater point is that is just it. They do not own villages. Your logic of villages is very strange. Otherwise there will be a billion villages per 5 houses in SW. Hahahaha. SW has villages and village boundaries per village. 5 houses in a street does not make a village in any part of this planet. Each village has their boundaries and ruling class. Urhobo's and Isoko's have nothing of such in the SW. I am done here, mission accomplished.
You seem not to UNDERSTAND anything so far.

A village is a group of buildings, AWAY from any known RURAL or URBAN area (maybe in near proximity to) with a people living together therein.

Need I spell it out for you again?

Haba! Na so you dull reach?

Urhobo-Isokos have villages in the SW! Whether you accept it or not. These villages may even die off over time, fortunately for your likes, because the economic advantage of migrating and settling is no longer there. For now, some of them remain and my initial statement stands. If the few persons there are threatening your ethnic existence, feel free to send them away through your baales.

Pettiness is in your blood. More reason I doubt you are Yoruba. Nothing differentiates you from that mod, who we all know his tribe. From page 1 till this page, his people have been leaving breadcumbs of hate, bigotry and stupidity. It's so sad that you had to drag Yoruba into that dance of shame and campaign of calumny against a simple humble minority.

No village in the SW is a group of buildings. A village by Nigerian meaning is a large portion of land, with boundaries, filled with people and governed by a ruling class. No village exists in Nigeria that is just a group of buildings. That is a street. At least not in the SW. Our villages are mostly towns and they are big. I am sure with these funny descriptions you have only been to Lagos and seen some Urhobo and Isoko people living on one street and that is now a village in your head. A village in Yorubaland is so much more complex than you think. This confirms you know absolutely nothing of what you are talking about.

You. I am a full blooded Yoruba woman and we do not take such lies likely. One of my best friends is Urhobo married to a Yoruba and she will even laugh at this lies you put here. No one hates you, take correction. Stop trying to form arrogance when you are obviously wrong.

I don't care what a village is to you or to your tribe. I have defined a village based on established international conventions and verifiable authority.

A village is a group of buildings and people, AWAY from any rural or urban area.
Village dwellers in the Southern region lived separately in 'clusters of huts belonging to the patrilinage'
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Village

Going by that authoritative definition, Urhobo-Isoko people have "okos" or villages in Ikale, Ilaje and Oro.

If you don't want them there, there is a standard protocol to kick them out. Many of them are already returning willingly due to hostilities from your kind who can't tolerate strangers coming together to form their own settlements.

You are even quoting Wikipedia. That you could have edited. Lmao. So all the Igbo people and Hausa people all over SW have villages in SW by your logic. LMAO. I don't think there will even be space for Urhobo or Isoko village going by your logic.

Stop claiming to love Urhobos. It makes you sound so ridiculous. Even those who are highly indifferent to Urhobos are not threatened by our "Okos" in Ilaje/Ikale. I am sure you are among those championing the cause for the murder of our people in those areas.

You are a strong Urhobo hater. Whichever Urhobo friends you have need to know this before you kill them or send them away soon.

Urhobo-Isokos have villages in Ikale/Ilaje whether or not you like it. I have provided sources and will provide more for you since you are obviously incorrigible.

Hausas and Igbos don't build houses away from the urban/rural areas. Their houses are within the towns.

The Urhobo-Isokos, on the other hand, clustered together, away from towns and built their houses there. How hard is it to understand that?

You are pathetic with your lies. A group of houses is now a farm and a village. Who is the village chief? You or the lizards and rats in those houses. This is hilarious. What nonsense. I will go to London and declare it my village. Hahahahahaha or my oko since I now live there with other Yoruba's.

These places they built those houses did not have any people living there who ruled the village? Don't forget that by your article they moved around in the 60's. With your article clearly stating the Ikale landlords. Urhobo's and Isoko's live mainly in towns and cities in the SW by the way. Like I said, I am sure you don't know how Nigeria is. LOL! You are funny. Thanks for the laugh...hahahahaha

Hausa's and Igbo's and other tribes are in the most remote areas of the SW. Trust me.

The fact that you find this funny shows your real intents. You have shifted grounds from we have no village to the fact that Ikales are landlords as if that was debated.

And yes, we do have rulers in those villages who are answerable to the nearest Oba. We are respectful people who recognise local norms even though we prefer to stay in our own villages.

Hausas/Igbos in SW stay in the towns because of their business interests. Urhobos don't go to the SW to trade. We go there to FARM! This means staying off the towns is to our own good and in doing this, we come together and create "okos" /villages.

I believe I made my points objectively. Just because I do not agree with your misconceptions does not make me a bigot. Or probably you do not even know the meaning of bigot before you start using it. Let me also point out to you that being a mod does not mean I cannot express my opinion on any subject matter.

You expect people to understand that by tagging urhobo and isoko together, you're 'carrying them along' but isn't what nigerians would ordinarily term 'claiming other people' or 'land grabbing', especially in the case of SEners? I'm just saying this so you reflect on certain attitudes of yours in the past and think it can favor you to your advantage.

Also, I merely pointed out what ancient books had to say about the kingdom of iwerre, which I'll post evidence of soon as I'm driving now.

Finally, urhobo and isoko together cannot be number 5 in population. I'm yet to see tangible evidence from you as regards that.

1. You are a bigot, based on observable evidence from your comments on this forum, especially as it pertains Igbo supremacist tendencies.

2. Isokos and Urhobos are one and the same and if that appears to be land grabbing to you, then sorry, let the Isokos speak for themselves as the Aniomas usually do. Never have I called Isokos Urhobos as you Igbos call every minority group. I respect their identity and compound the names to Urhobo-Isoko. We don't land grab. We carry each other along. The Isokos do the same to us as well.

3. Iwerre Kingdom is NOT the same as Warri City. Iwerre is based at Ode-Itsekiri island, off the Warri City. So when you mention Iwerre kingdom, you are NOT referring to Warri City in any way. The Olu of Iwerre knows his domain and certainly can't cross them for anything, just as the Ovie of Agbarha-Warri Kingdom and Orosuen of Okere-Urhobo Kingdom know their domains.

4. Urhobo is regarded as 5th largest ethnic group in Nigeria according to my sources. If yours say different, then go with yours. It's not a contest. All minorities are nothing but minorities and the so-called majorities, such as you, throw our insignificance to us to massage your egos.

5. You remain the most tribalistic mod on Nairaland. Your precedent of favoritism, selective banning, hiding of posts and Igbocentricism in a supposed non-tribalistic forum, reveal you for what you are. As long as Seun keeps mods like you, the tribal bashing on NL will never stop.

By all standards and conventions, you are the troll on this post because this post is a post for Warri/Urhobo people to come and indentify!

The fact that we have villages in Yoruba country, doesn't make us Yoruba people or indigenous to those places. We know our identity and will never drag another man's land for anything.

The villages we occupy were created with proper permissions and we pay taxes for them. We are a threat to no one. In fact, this isn't even an issue but you just had to let your ego be massaged and came to spew sanctimonious BS.

Even after I tutored you and still would, you have proven yourself incorrigible and made this a fickle affair, proving that tribalism and bigotry were your original aims.

No one is out to get you. Take correction and be honest when you write. People read it and they must let you know when it is full of lies. Lies don't help anyone. Take correction and you will be better for it. Don't play victim when you have been corrected. You will never grow or advance that way. Goodluck to you in your future writing endeavors. I will be reading it carefully.
There is no point that you have made here. You were only being a bigot and a hater of the Urhobo settlements in Yorubaland.

Good news is that you have no power to send them away.

Bad news for you is that they'd remain there until they decide to come home and when that happens, we'd welcome them like kings and princes, because we never despise our own.

This thread was very much a success! You had a huge role to play in that.

Urhobos are writing their contemporary destiny and trajectory and its good we know what is what when doing so.

Keep reading my writings! Many of Bigfrancis21's kinds are following me seriously just trying to spot loopholes to massage their soft egos.

In war, peace is the ultimate weapon.
