Nobody disagrees the s5 being an upgrade over s4, heck, thats what its meant to be.

The question here is whether the S4 still has enough jizz to take on, or outperform the Camon. And it pretty decently does that.

Only you knows about S4 shouldn't be updated to Lollipop and only you also knows that S6 shouldn't be updated to Nougat. You must know a whole lots of things. Did you expect S6 to "chip" with Nougat 2 years ago?

Despite S4 been offficially on Lollipop. There are loads of features which Google just added to Android but as been available on Touchwiz for a long time.


You leveled S4 and CX on RAM simply because they have same amount of RAM but iphone 4s is on same level with S4 despite having inferior specs. You must be very brilliant

S4 is indeed the most gorgeous device ever, as in totally brilliant with fingerprint technology and shiny aluminium and glass finish, not to mention lollipop OS ready. Just so sad that it's out of the stores and the used version is priced ridiculously low like the used iPhone 4s which is way way way below it's standard. Gee i wonder why that is?

Look beyond the screen size but screen to body ratio. iPhone 6 plus, 6s plus, 7 plus have 5.5 inches but monstrous in sizes.

It's snapdragon 600 I think, and I understand that it's not really much of a racer now in 2017, but techno? really?

Honestly speaking, I can't go to the market now to buy phone and decide to settle for S4 that debuted in 2014 with wacky battery just because I couldn't afford S8. I prefer settling down with the latest tecno in town within the same price range with S4.

But MTK isnt the only chip that supports dual sim. It just comes down to how the phone maker wishes to design the phone.

For me number 1 is budget

I could make an argument for why i would choose a camon cx over the s7 edge or the s8 plus ($1000) from now til next year. Some people won't come outright to tell you that the samsung 2017 flagship is not even an option because i cannot afford it.

Number 2 is whichever one has a unique feature that gets me excited.

For Example; The Camon CX camera is on par and better than most 100-N200K devices out on the market. See camera review -
