In Edo State, PDP dragged the governor to court, another PDP also congratulated him after he won.

First half result from this entertaining match is APC 2 & PDP nil (0). The 2 goals from APC are (1) Election victory through voting & Election tribunal judgment. Earnestly waiting for the commencement of the Second half since we still have the Appeal Court & the Supreme Court. Will PDP equalize or it will be total trashing from APC against the PDP. Well time will tell.

It is quite clear from decisions the tribunals and courts, including our Supreme Court have churned out, that CARD READERS and VOTERS REGISTERS are not important in the conduct of elections in Nigeria. The Opposition Parties Pdp, Sdp Accord, KOWA etc etc should be prepared in 2019 to discountenance the use of CARD READERS and VOTERS REGISTER; The courts have spoken. The opposition must fight with the WEAPON of his traducer.

The court has really blocked PDP from eating yam as they planned to do in the next four years.. The judge declared ;no yam in Edo state till the next election. .This is a very sad news for those who have put all their hopes on Eze- Iyamu

The use of Card reader was not previously included in the electoral laws of Nigeria. It is one of the changes introduced in the new Electoral Act that was recently passed by the Senate.
Under the new Act, the use of card reader is now mandatory. Failure to use it by whoever is authorised will amount to years in prison.
