There is a difference between unconfirmed transaction and a double spend

His is not about an unconfirmed transaction, but that there are several other unconfirmed transactions from the wallet that was sent to him and one of the transaction is actually a double spend!

So if it is a double spend, it can never be confirmed because you can't spend what you don't have.
