it all depends on your budget. if you want to go with a standard foreign host with their unlimited shared hosting plans, most of then charges from 4-5 USD per month and with dollar exchange rate , you will have to check the current blackmarket price. if you go with 5 USD hosting and pay for a year and let's say exchange rate is #400, the you have 24k to pay every year excluding domain name cost. but if you want to go for Nigerian hosting, then you can get hosting for as low as 5-10k per year but with limited features.

note that as your site keeps growing in traffic, your hosting plans will need to be upgraded to a more expensive plan.

now you can see why most Nigerian bloggers love using blogging platform
