emu22:He failed or not, I don't care, you come from north or south, makes no difference to me. All I know is that he promised it and delivered it. The posture of Amechi on red chair of the train corroborates the fact that GEJ, his sworn "non performer" did this as he promised Nigerians. Period! If a PhD holder is, in your own words, "a doosh bag", I wonder what you would call the helms man on saddle now? The facts speak for themselves. |

emu22:I dont think you are well informed in this sector, Go and read the difference btw Narrow gauge line and standard gauge lines, what we had B4 GEJ was narrow gauge which the world had moved from hence we cant even buy 2nd hand trains to ply waht was left of the rail l ines. The new lines are standard gauge so anyone can buy any kind of train now and run it, however since this new Fg took over not a bolt has been bought. No Airport had been Built,.The last Airport built B4 the last 16 years where that of OBJ during military.if U check all the new Airport built they where all withing the last 17 years.Look Im not a PDP member or APC but truth should be told as records do not lie, however youths like you should be well informed so you dont come across as uneducated when you put ur arguments across. |

erico2k2:Did you just say that?what about good roads, the brt stuff.See give bubu some credit for ensuring that the project continued, look at obamacare'trump wanted to kill it if not for the level of civilisation in that country,If bubu had killed uncle Jonahs rail project we won't be having dis DISCUSSION rite now. |

If you are well informed when PMB wanted to inaugurate this railway he clearly stated that they can't take glory for it because it was what the past government did not them that's 2016 Dreyl: |

emu22:The premise is clear. Follow me: For PMB to complete the project means they are laudable. For the projects to be laudable means they were aptly and intelligently conceived. For them to be aptly conceived means the leader has vision. For the leader to have vision means the cap fits him. Good product, good thinking. GEJ, posterity keeps justifying you. Hero of democracy. |

Guy don't waste your time he does not know what he is talking about maybe he has free MB even during commissioning PMB refused taking credit for it saying it's the past administrations project which the contractors finished in their own time and that they had no kobo in it because all ongoing projects have been fully paid for erico2k2: |

In an apparent bid to douse the tension flaring between the two camps, Mr. Amaechi took to his Twitter handle to weigh in on the matter, saying the project was, in fact, conceived by President Olusegun Obasanjo, who left office nine years ago, and received contributions from successive governments. “The rail contract was awarded by President Obasanjo, partially executed by President Jonathan and completed by President Buhari,” Mr. Amaechi said. Mr. Amaechi’s tweet elicited criticism from mostly PDP supporters, who said the minister was being disingenuous. They said Mr. Amaechi left out the fact that the train project was awarded by Mr. Jonathan in 2011 through counterpart funding with a Chinese construction firm at the rate of $874 million. The PDP also posted a link to a December 2014 Chinese news report suggesting the project was completed in December 2014, after Mr. Amaechi’s predecessor in the ministry reportedly bolted the last knot on the tracks. But Mr. Amaechi held his ground, saying a lot of efforts were put into the completion by the APC government. “The rail stations, the signaling, the communications and part of d tracks were done and completed by the Buhari administration,” he said. http://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/headlines/207628-abuja-kaduna-rail-project-partially-executed-jonathan-amaechi.html |

emu22:I dont get u,you keep jumping frm pillar to post like this FG,I said transportation in regards to acquiring Buses, now that sure different from Roads, Roads comes under infrastructure.Lagos is a different case sturdy, they have mass transit problem hence a clear Bus route is adequate. PMB could not have killed teh rail project cos it was done and dusted, PMB campaigned on same said train is that hard to get? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jKQguakSbQE https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LwvrhwDBefo https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zn_q43x-dS8 |

erico2k2:The "old " narrow guage rail network was completely revamped by GEJ, both the western and eastern line. The repair of the eastern line stopped at the point where the bokoharam conflict was raging. The video show the old network. The new faster standard guage line isthe first in West-Africa. Obasanjo attempted to start the project, but the funding requirements was too much. Hence when jonathan came in he was adviced by his team to break it up in segments starting with the kaduna -abuja standard guage segment. This guage(standard) is faster than the narrow guage that was completely overhauled by GEJ. |

| Re: Photos Of El-rufai On Abuja-Kaduna Train This Afternoon by dragon2(m): 10:09pm On Apr 16, 2017 |
erico2k2:It actually is, I quoted a report on the Abuja-Kaduna Standard guage on premium times. Not the western or eastern narrow guage lines, and the thread is about the standard guage line. Just dont confuse both sets of lines. one set was overhauled by GEJ,running parrallel accross Nigeria while the other stands on its own between Abuja and Kaduna,( I think there is one between delta steel and the itakpe mine, i am not sure). |

rusher14:Those who named Jonathan clueless were apt. See malams enjoying from crude oil proceeds from Nigerdelta; oil proceeds that built a $1.09 billion standard gauge rail line from Kaduna to Abuja. Malams had used sharia and Boko Haram to expel most southerners from north. If Jonathan were not clueless, he had the opportunity while in power to reverse the mistakes of his forebears who traveled to Kaduna in 1967 to beg for non-Igbo areas be cut off from Biafra. After non-Igbo areas were carved out of Biafra, and which mostly failed Biafra, Malams colonized Nigeria till today |

| Re: Photos Of El-rufai On Abuja-Kaduna Train This Afternoon by dragon2(m): 10:24pm On Apr 16, 2017 |
erico2k2:No problem at all. GEJ repaired both the eastern and western narrow guages and acquired funding and oversaw the construction of the standard guage. Why the new Government claimed to finish the project i still dont understand considering that the financing had been secured, but that's for another day. |

I am not arguing to say PMB is d best or something,he did what is right. |
