Senator Andy Uba urged Ndi Anambra to utilise the period of Easter to pray for God's divine intervention in our Dear State.

Sen. Uba in an Annual Easter Lectures organised by the Anambra Christians Network, stressed the need for Ndi Anambra to pray more fervently for divine Restoration of the glory of our state.

According to him, only prayers to God to show mercy and the co-operation of Ndi Anambra can help to revive the dwindling status of our state.

“I urge you to remember our state in prayers. Our State is in dire need of prayers at this challenging time, we are in our worst moment right now, deception and lies is the order of the day and nothing seems to be working , some elements in the government house are busy clamouring for second term when they have not done anything visible for the state, the Governor has lavished the state fund and he is not meticulous and he lacks eyes for details.

Sen. Andy Uba urged church leaders to continue to be at the forefront of ensuring peaceful co-existence, understanding and religious harmony in the state, saying that God will surely bless all of them for their dedication to service to God and humanity.

He promised that if he is elected the Governor of this state his administration will surely recognise and treat all religious groups equally in the state, and they will become an integral part of his Government, because they are carriers of divinity of Christ.

Reverend Fr. (Dr) Chibueze Okoli a Catholic priest of Awka Archdiocese urged parents, religious leaders and the community to contribute to the moulding of the younger generation by teaching morals and values to build and secure a better future.

In his remarks, he called for sober reflection, forgiveness, perseverance in prayers solidarity with the less privileged, among others in this season. He said that it is obvious APC has the needs of Ndi Igbo and Anambra at heart, APGA under Willie Obiano has failed us all, the Catholic church priests has resolved to support Senator Andy Uba for Governor of Anambra state come November 18, 2017, he also urged other Christian faiths to support Sen. Andy Uba to make Anambra great again.
