Amaechi demands N2bn from Fani-Kayode, Fayose’s aide over defamation...

Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, has asked former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode and the Special Assistant to Governor Ayodele Fayose, Lere Olayinka, to apologise to him and pay N2 billion compensation for accusing him of owning the $43.4 million and other cash found in a flat in Ikoyi, Lagos.

Amaechi, in letters sent to Fani-Kayode and Olayinka by his lawyer, gave the men seven days ultimatum to apologise and pay compensation.

The minister denied owing any house in Lagos and having a girlfriend.

Olayinka had alleged that EbonyLife TV founder, Mosunmola Abudu, is Amaechi’s girlfriend, who got a flat at the Osborne Towers from the minister.

Amaechi said he was a good family man and had no girlfriend anywhere.

The person i pity more is that jobless Fani Kayode who has no means of livlihood yet courting trouble for himself.The little one he stole during his time as minister of aviation is almost finished,instead of him to manage the little left over he is spending it in litigation.

If Minister Rotimi Amaechi's name didn't pop up in this issue, I am sure by now ex-PDP Chairman, Adamu Mu'azu would have been picked up by the EFCC by now. They would tell us that Mu'azu must clear his name in court.

They would have also picked up Pa Anthony Anenih's Daughter and Mrs. Esther Ogbue-Nnamdi. And the Buhari Media Centre, BMC boys and the present court jesters would have flooded the Nigerian Super-information highway with Chants of Sai Baba and Sai Magu.

That the NIA lays claimant to the money purportedly approved by the Jonathan administration should be told to the Marines. If that is the case why does the Bank Stamp on the monies bear 2016 as its date of release.

If the NIA is involved and didn't inform President Muhammadu Buhari after 23months of coming on board, why has the DG remained in office? I expect Buhari to have suspended him or sacked him for insubordination.

Even though investigation must go on, NIA DG must have been made to step aside. But never, it's all Media Hoopla.
