That's very low, an effect of European winter up North. The cold zone is moving downward and places like Algeria are getting full blown snowy weather. It may happen in Nigeria sooner than later.

In Kenya it would depend on the place. Most are afew kilometers above sea level, like along the rift valley. But there are other places, like Nyahururu where temperatures can get icy especially at night. Nairobi is usually around 25° C

Places like Egypt? The entire middle East nowadays gets snow. For some reason, deserts also have a tendency to get very cold especially at night.

Its got to do with little cloud cover and humidity.

though some areas can get pretty cold in kenya, in some parts especially in high altitudes temperatures can drop to single digits
kinangop town has been often nicknamed snow land due to frequent snow like hail, which are smaller in size than hail found in other parts of kenya
