TonyeBarcanista:As far as i am concerned, all this play to the gallery will backfire on APC if nothing is done about it. Just like the 9m South African scandal. It will help Nigerians know that even though they have different parties, politicians are united in looting. |

Rubbish In fact, every known human being is being alleged to be the owner of the money from a former NNPC MD, former PDP Chairman Adamu Muazu, as well as former Governor of Rivers state Rotimi Amaechi-wjth ALL of them denying and even threatened with lawsuit. Now they have shifted ownership to National Intelligence Agency (NIA) saying that the Director-General "ran" to Magu and advised him against searching the apartment... What a story?Has the EFCC been the source behind any of these allegations of ownership? Magu need to be informed that Nigerians aren't as stupid as he may think, even if he has to plant money it should be done with wisdom and tacts.Nigerians are -by and large - more stupid than some of us fear. But I'd like to see your proof that Magu planted that money. Is it possible that an Intelligence agency like NIA with security personnel attached to the agency will not put armed to the teeth security guards around the apartment to guard it against invasion? Are they saying that the SEVEN policemen from the EFCC that invaded the apartment will disarm and overpower these security guards? Are they saying that the DG will tell his men to willingly surrender to EFCC operative even when the agency cross into their territory? Is EFCC, an agency under the Ministry of Justice now superior to NIA, an intelligence agency under the office of the National Security Adviser (just like DSS)? Can EFCC invade the territory of DSS?I ask you again; has the EFCC come out to say the money belongs to the NIA? Your post represents what I abhor about political opposition in Nigeria. The EFCC is nominally supposed to be an independent organization from the ruling APC, and so It is in the best interests of all Nigerians to see a strong and successful EFCC. There's absolutely nothing constructive in the drivel you wrote, and you're happily mixing a few sensible questions with uninformed and unproven conjecture, spiced with needless sarcasm. It grieves me that my tax money goes to subsidize many of you in that parasitic class of political hangers-on. |

This is a load of crap coming from an erstwhile brilliant somebody. Can't believe I scrolled thru 2 pages and found that this guy, this once brilliant guys with good write-ups has gone bonkers. Surely no hope for pdp again. If a smart person can stoop low to think like this, what would happen to those who look up to him. |

genearts:Please if you can answer this question truthfully, you will help yourself: Do you believe that the money will belong to any PDP or GEJ associate, plus their campaign posters will be found with the money, and then this Magu led EFCC wouldn't have named the person or even detained him since, plus show us a full clip? |

I don't know why intelligent people at times reason with their arse just to spite their brain. They sincerely wish the EFCC is as effective as it was in the days of GEJ. |

Mumu analysis. Have you ever wondered if the EFCC changed tactics because of the constant wailing that the fight against corruption is one sided or that EFCC engages in media trial? If EFCC comes out to say Mr A is suspected to be the owner of the money because he or she was the one who rented the apartment, I'm sure the very first thing you dumb fvcks would do is to check the tribe and party affiliation of the person, before you all nincompoops start singing the witch hunt song. If. EFCC talk. Na problem ...... Dem no talk, na problem.. I hail una. |

TonyeBarcanista:"Let's reason together" you say, but unfortunately what you put up here is not "reasoning" but the same old regurgitated excuses your ilks had put up that beggars logic 1. The news had it that NIA came forward to claim the money, that it was approved for covert operations under GEJ. How is that missing from your acclaimed "reasoning" 2. That the place was left unguarded should have made any sensible person to question NIA. In deed if the money were for covert operations, why was the place unguarded by the NIA? 3. Your "reasoning" should have also addressed the angle of GEJ's name coming into the mix, yet almost a week after, GEJ or his media team had not made a statement either to accept responsibility or deny it 4. Your reasoning has not addressed an supposition that if it were for covert operations, how come a new government 2yrs into his tenure is unaware of the history the covert operations, where the money was kept and to what use it was for Your attempt to swing this through ridiculous clamour to "reason together" is in itself a dumb move |

genearts:In addition, his conjectures are not even logically and intelligently enumerated. The angle of NIA came from NIA and not EFCC. Why the attempt to absolve NIA, whom it was reported came forward themselves to lay claim to the money? Even the EFCC are to-date following a laid down procedure of first securing the money through the interim forfeiture order by the courts while investigations are still going on to ascertain the "ownership" of the money.TonyeBarcanista: :1. how can you suggest that efcc should frame innocent individuals for something they know nothing about? are you being sarcastic or what? It is outright irresponsibility on Tonye's part (with your level of intelligence) to descend to the gutter to castigate EFCC. One would have expected that the bigger concern is that almost $50m is out there in an unsecured location, the CBN has no record of it, neither is any security agency |

TonyeBarcanista:I am on you with valid points raised in your write up But this your assertion that magu could have planted the cash doesn't make sense..sorry to say 1.NIA has already claimed the money .so how will magu plant what NIA has said is theirs 2.Let's assume you are correct. Where will magu get $43m mints tell me...where? I strongly believe Efcc discovered this money from tip off from a whistle blower and when they tried identifying owners of the cash..There was plan to cover up hence NIA claimed it..this has thrown efcc in disarray as they also were not patient to carry full investigation before coming to the press I strongly believe NIA boss is fronting the money for some politicians He said Gej approved it ..Gej is silent. He doesn't confirm the story why...Gej that was quick to respond to his link in malabu oil deal some weeks ago suddenly is mute Presidency is quiet why...why can't an official statement come from them addressing. Are they also trying to cover up something Efcc also have been quiet why So one can only assume this cover up cuts across the presidency, Gej and NIA. Inotherwords..I suspect both APC and PDP top shots are involved |
