My Investigation as a Crime Writer :: the gunman came to kill... A single shot or even as much as threatening to surrender his valuables will do the trick

... This is an assassination.... The goal was to retrieve the contents of his phone am guessing some sorta contacts and media files.. Chats and messages. But mainly contacts and media files (memory card) . Smashing the phone was to destroy any remaining evidence that may have been left there...
.. My guess our innocent corper may not be so innocent this kind of assassination goes up to dealings with black mailings especially or eye witness mess...


How the police can go about it :: they need to retrieve any remaining info from that phone.. He may have destroyed the phone.. But it can be scavenged and little info gotten from it. By good hackers..... His network providers can also help by providing calls and messages recorded... His close confidentials can also assist and should be investigated properly.


... This was an assassination.. In the US ... That phone though destroyed is and still remains the best lead and evicted to bring the killer to justice....
