China is the world’s largest consumer of ivory.

Elephants are poached for their ivory, which is carved into jewelry, utensils, religious figurines, and trinkets.

Approximately 70% of illegal ivory ends up in China.

In the 1900s, there were about 12 million elephants south of the Sahara. Today, there are about 500,000.

Conservationists estimate that between 30,000 and 38,000 elephants are poached annually for their ivory.

A single male elephant's two tusks can weigh more than 250 pounds, with a pound of ivory fetching as much as $1,500 on the black market.

Kenya reports that 90% of ivory smugglers caught in the country are Chinese citizens.

explorer is it true that king cobra feed only on other snake becus I have nt watch any documentary DAT show show them feeding on other animals
Not only snakes, they rats, lizards, birds, and eggs also.

But major snake eaters are refers to as Kingsnakes, colubrid snakes, members of the genus Lampropeltis, which include milk snakes and four other species.

King snakes use constriction to kill their prey and tend to be opportunistic when it comes to their diet; they will eat other snakes (ophiophagy), including venomous snakes.

Kingsnakes will also eat lizards, rodents, birds, and eggs.

The common kingsnake is known to be immune to the venom of other snakes and do eat rattlesnakes.

Lol, do you think the tiger lost in the fight because he was dragged off the arena?? Mind you the tiger wasn't dead. The tiger disgraced the lion if you ask me...no single notable attack came from the lion.

Now, let me tell you little about tiger;

1. tigers are very smart animals and if there's anything they hate apart from being hungry is getting injured. tiger will leave it's kill for a little predator like hyenas just to avoid unnecessary injury that doesn't mean it doesn't kill hyenas atimes. In the fight with the lion it tried to leave because it considered the fight as unnecessary.

2. The most important part of their body is their spinal cord and they never risk it.because it's d most delicate part of. their body ..That was why u saw it lying on the ground if it not biting off the lion's flesh in that fight.

The lion should be thankful for it's mane if not the tiger would've ripped off it's neck in that fight.

Lastly lions supremacy is overrated, lion is not the strongest predator, they are viewed as the kings of the jungle because of their pride and how they organize themselves during a hunt to face any other animal.

ps: In that fight the tiger wasn't dead after d fight, they had to pull the tiger out because it was the calmer one.
