Guys please if you have a child who is American by birth with pp, does not have green white green pp but a resident of Uk with permit and an option to get the British pp anytime. Now knowing that legally one can't lay claim to 3pps of 3different nations without having to drop one of them.

My question is ,which of the 2pps out of the 3pps will u want that child to have and why?

UK allows triple citizenship. I have triple though I'm yet to claim one of them. All you need to check is from the Yankee end or Naija end.

Left to me, I would drop the Naija one if I have to.

I think the issue is probably from Yankee then Cuz someone who is both British and American wanted to do Naija pp in Yankee and was told he couldn't have more than two pps. He was clearly told according to him,that he will need to forfeit one of the British or Yankee to get Naija. So my guy just log out on Naija.

Meanwhile,i have a similar situation on ground. My son with Yankee pp, no Naija yet(can get this one any second sef) but Uk pp can be made readily available to him also. I am not sure if I should totally discard Naija bit what if he grows up and needs to hold a public position or something? This is my dilemma.

I am thinking I will hold out if possible, for him to choose at the end of the day when he is of age to do so.

Your son is a child of the world. If he grows up in the West, he won't have the stomach for Naija but leave open the option to live and work in Europe or Yankee. Naija is on the road to Somalia.

For one you get taxed as an American passport holder regardless of where you live in the world, and this is after paying regular taxes in the country where you live.

Secondly, in terms of travel, American passport doesn't give you a lot. EU voted against American visaless travel to Europe, though Brexit might change things for Brits.

. Currently I don't need a visa to visit the states for up to 3 months, so unless I intend to live there...which I don't...i just can't see the need for an American passport.

This is the point I was going to make as well. I also don't intend to live in the US as well. I currently hold just two. If I must drop one, then it has to be the America one. As I can travel to the US for 90 days without Visa.

Omo this is not even a tough dilemma. Tear the green white green pp quickly. I can't think of a single advantage or benefit one derives from it. There are a hundred and one pps better. Give your kid the benefit of having Uk and American Pali,if he comes of age and decides to jettison one for Naija pp he can do that.

I don't like the small houses, vehicles and roads of the Uk but it was really the climate that put me off. I was at a game at Old Trafford in March some years ago and it felt like my nose was frozen rock solid, March o not December. That was when I understood why the stadia usually look empty even seconds before kick off.
I like the transport network, health care and proximity to multiple places though. But the people are as cold as the weather

America is a place where you can't even go to the toilet without driving.

Here you let the train take the strain. For example, I live in a village in the Midlands, but work in Leeds 60 miles away. Up until December last year, I was commuting to Central London - a distance of over 130 miles(almost double the distance from Lagos to Ibadan)

All I do is drive to the train station and let them carry me to work easy. The public transport is just a life saver.

I won't argue with that. The relative small size of the country makes that kind sweet network easy to build and maintain. I woke up one morning in London. Front door was bus stop, took bus to London Vic. From there train to Manchester , at Manchester train straight to Old Trafford. End of game, train to Birmingham to party. It is more difficult to have such a comprehensive network in large countries.

Very true, Texas is almost Nigeria's size.
Just like down under you drive 8 hours on express and you are still in the same state. Queensland is about double Nigeria in size.
