Without conceding or seeking to exonerate anyone who is to be apportioned blame, where necessary, I must state my take; That such a huge amount of money was discovered: was either a very good job by the whistle blowing entity, or a very shabby job by a supposedly "intelligence" agency. That a cash amount could be designated for intelligent operation and such not domiciled in a bank, for secret/special duties: it isn't a new event worldwide as such could not be traced. That such a special duty(including the amount involved) was not communicated to the new NSA(if at all it wasn't) and onward explanation of same to the current President: begs for explanation from the NIA boss. So, if the "special" operation was concluded, such money should have been returned to the CBN or if it wasn't, the NSA should be fully aware of the cash and the ongoing operation. Equally, if the information is true about an operation and the NIA boss is coming out to explain same to the current President, I feel proper investigation should have been the first step and not a media frenzy that is ongoing. Because, those kind of operations is always carried out with absolute deniability attached. So, I bet the NIA boss may have done a bad job in handling the situation OR the EFCC in its bid to be seen to do a good job, rushed over the exposure of the stash... These are my deductions and like I said earlier, does not in anyway intended to exonerate ANYONE...(I would have said more, but most social media visitors have problems with reading ) |

gberra:Why do you have to be so out of your depth? NIA received $200+m in 2015. NIA sends an update to Monguno in June 2016 that they have $86+m in cash at hand as well as status updates as to what they used the money for. Don't ask me how I know, do your research. So, it's either the NSA didn't fill in the President or the President received an update and is playing dumb. Or all of them know what they're doing and they're just perfecting their cover-up. As there's no way funds delivered by trucks in 2015 and having 2014 mint date will be moved with bags by a female and having 2016 mint date. You, the other of your jocky teammates and 170+m people are probably being stringed along like lamb to the slaughter. The only people investigating the case are people who are typically part of top-level security briefings. In 12 days time, the four people with the highest security clearances in Nigeria will give an update on an issue that's beyond our pay grade, pass the buck to a false positive, and everything returns to normal. Why do you think the CBN is denying everything and Magu is being shut out? This is bigger than you f*ck-face and bigger than law enforcement. Continue to be entertained. Don't quote me again if you don't want to appear st*pid, I have zero tolerance for a complete dumba$$. -Lord |

cktheluckyman:This is sad. 67.2 Billion that could have built good schools round all the corners of Nigeria. 67.2 Billion that could have built world class specialist hospitals in all the States in Nigeria. 67.2 Billion that could have revamped our refineries. 67.2 Billion that could have built good roads around the Country, especially those bad roads in the East. 67.2 Billion that could have equipped our Military to be one of the best in the world. 67.2 Billion that could have touched everybody's life one way or the other in Nigeria. But what happened?Goodluck Jonathan led a very organized crime ring,to KILL and BURY Nigeria. About 15 people stole what belongs to almost 200 Million people. If you are still supporting the last Government. Just walk slowly to the "Mirror" in your bathroom, and very slowly whisper to yourself " I was Born a Fool" Then come back to this thread ,and look at the amount again "67.2 Billion" and then repeat the " I was Born a fool" again. |

ephi123:How can you prosecute the DG when he has not been found guilty of any wrongdoing? He said the money was approved by the former president through the NSA and released by the CBN. For you to arrest or even start prosecution, you need an evidence linking that person to the said crime and as it stands, there is clearly no wrong doing on his part. He is just flowing orders. |

LordAdam16:I will keep it very short & simple; While Munguno may have been updated on the cash assets & disbursements upon his assumption of office, could he had been informed about the so called covert op under the guise of "unbudgeted special services" being 57billion payable from the account of NIPMS into NIA with a 13billion balance in a certain room" dash-dash "??..bearing the authorization of Gej?.. Don't be too smart to dangle spurious accusation over Mongunno. 2. The fabricated idea that the money was 2016 minted, sounds rather crude than despicable to every sane mind. 3. If Magu was being shut out in your own words which you have been carelessly underlining past few times, how could the committee be using his report for her verifiable investigation. FYI, Magu would be working in synergy behind the scene. 4.I WILL continue to mention lordAdam be that 7,1, 16 or 100, cos I do enjoy your read but not to deception & would not hesitate to frustrate you into submission. I will not be one of your gullible enthusiasts who fall cheaply to the allure of your sophistry... Take Note!!!. The smiling one ![]() |

gberra:Monguno is not an id*ot. If civil service heads and NNPC managing directors can have dollars stashed in houses, why shouldn't the head of an intelligence agency in NIGERIA. A simple audit will find a leak. And I'm positive at least one of the three DIA heads who got sacked must have been done for corruption, and the DIA is more off-the-books and larger than the NIA. 13b of 57b is over 20%. So don't call this an oversight, we all know how the country works. It is not fabricated. It's directly from the horse's mouth. Money was moved in recently according to the whistleblower who happened to be the gateman of the property, and EFCC contacts at the raid said it was 2016 minted cash. When I say Magu is shut out, I mean the appearance. Is he part of the Presidential committee doing the investigation? No! He could or could not be on it. There's no way to be sure. And I make my speculations based on facts and available information. If you're looking for some kick from having to beat an ultra-intelligent person on a speculation, then you should rather be taking alcohol right now. It's more reliable. And quite frankly, this is my last reply to you on this matter. My time is too valuable to spend exchanging words with someone who is about as intelligent as an octopus (and I'm being generous because cephalopods are about as intelligent as primates). So keep the mentions coming, I'm blacking you out. Seeking baseless attention is a basic primal desire of a person who is unsatisfied with himself and feels the need to prove himself to someone he perceives occupies a higher pedestal (it could be intelligence, aptitude, et cetera) than he does. Thing is, I'm not going to be your sitter. Got too much on my plate. I shape public discussions when I can. Sending this message to you is the most ineffective thing I've done all day. And I've got only approx 16 hours 51 minutes left today. Au revoir! -Lord |

LordAdam16:You carefully sidetripped some facts that appeared too knotty to fit in your narrative. I would neither be belabored to address your points fraught with many loopholes & irregularities, since you appeared really opinionated & conceitedly dogmatic while a seemingly irrefutable contrary opinion should be bottled for your ego. It's been long time coming bro. I've known you for too long. I would leave you to rethink while you use your 16hrs 51mins to work on a come back. The smiling one ![]() |
