We use a 1hp pump machine for our borehole, and which normally works with NEPA voltage. One day it refused to work which resulted to calling someone to rewine the coils.

After the job was done and the pump machine installed, we discovered that it doesn't pick when we use NEPA light. But when we switch to generator it picks up and work. This was the same NEPA voltage we have always used before it was worked on.

The repairer keeps telling us that NEPA Voltage is low to start the machine. Which we don't agree to because we all know what low voltage is when it comes to NEPA.

My question is ; is there something he did to the machine coil to prevent it from using NEPA voltage? Because we didnt touch the electrical connection, its still the same as before it was repaired.

Any way the repairer used a denser coil or such a way that NEPA voltage would not power it?
