On a serious note, we heard that the Sambisa Forest is wider than Abia, Imo and Anambra States' land mass combined. If that is the case, why worry about creating grazing lands in the South and West? Why not focus on clearing Sambisa? That will serve multiple purpose. First, Boko Haram Fighters will no longer have a forest to hide hostages in or operate from. Second, our herdsmen will have land for their cattle to graze in. Third, all these bloody clashes between herdsmen and farmers will stop. Just thinking and wondering. NOTE: Let's put our heads together on this. Don't use this as an opportunity to abuse anybody or any tribe or even the government. Let's just think together.

The herdsmen graze to the southern part of the country cos of the amount of rainfall received by the country monthly increases to the south as a result of the maritime wind of the South West wind blowing over the atlantic ocean to the land, The North East wind blowing across the Sahara desert and intertropical convergence zone.

This explains why the southern part of Nigeria experiences more rainfall than the northern part.
Sambisa forest experiences lower rainfall than most part of Nigeria. Sambisa forest has lesser grass.

With proper irrigation, grasses can still be grown in sufficient amount in Sambisa to feed the cattles.

All it takes is good planning and strong will.

Map view also shows it is a savanna vegetation; So they should be ample supply of grass.

You guys still refuse to understand their game plan. Save this lecture for a more enlightened society than this herdsmen. It is all about the conquest of the entity call Nigeria. Ask yourselves, how has Chad with over 4 million cattles and 4.5million sheep been coping. What about neighbouring Niger with more than 10.2million cattle head.

Op you think they don't know about this
How can the herdsmen annex minorities if they are lumped to sambisa
They have already conquered sambisa with Boko haram
You can ask a Christian town called chibok
They need to expand and reach out with their gospel

Plans have been made to carve out a grazing route from all the southern states
Just pray it doesn't pass through ur back yard
