Teedawg:The people that cheated u are the ones u are now supporting. While the ones that are trying to right the wrongs of the past are the ones u are eager to pull down. Can't u see that warped mode of reasoning. Smh |

Teedawg:If you are ignorant of how the Courts work, why not keep the ignorance to yourself than to come and proudly flaunt it in public domain? |

Teedawg:Isn't it an evidence of ignorance that you don't know the the processes involved in successful prosecution of cases? Cases filed ten years ago in court are still ongoing and you attempt to crucify a less than 2years old government of failure to jail anybody yet. Will EFCC and Buhari do the judiciary's job too? I guess you don't even know anything about Separation of Powers. |

ezenaija:if you had read my post carefully and not decided to be a typical black Nigerian you will not see were I said anything about the processes involved in court selection all I inquired was why hasn't anyone be at least taken to court and tried at least unsucesfuly self?Abi all those money recovered are not evidence ehn? because the person caught uses his mouth to say it's a gift or has forfeited the money...oh I laugh.... the sooner you realize that the looters and the president have a strong attachment you will realize that all this is just a sham rather than coming here to display your primary school knowledge thinking you have common sense.... |

Teedawg:Unfortunately, both the law-makers and Judiciary organs that can facilitate this have been compromised. Did you remember a man who stole pension fund in billions who was instructed to pay 750,000 or risk the two years imprisonment? Patience was guilty of her case and court has ordered forfeiture of the money: why should she go scot free after being found guilty? The truth is that our law is so outdated to meet the present condition. Buhari cannot sentence anybody to jail, only court can do that. This is what we called separation of powers/checks and balances. Besides, these set of thieves we called our leaders have stolen enough money to even fight FG toe to toe. This shows how frustrating the war against corruption is. Corruption cannot be totally eradicated, but can be reduced. Kudos to PMB even though he has his own deficiency. |

Now I get it.. You don't read newspapers, internet news sites or watch TV. That's the root cause of your ignorance. Because if you are abreast of events by following the news, you would be aware that EFCC has filed over 50 corruption cases in the Courts against politically exposed persons in the past 18 months.and these cases are in different stages of prosecution. If you know how things work, you would know that once a case is filed, the matter becomes that of the judiciary which is independent of the executive and that is where the delay happens. In a country where it takes 10 years for a Judge to conclude a criminal case, how would a reasonable person complain in less than 2 years and blame the investigators when the matters have moved to the Courts? Again, your ignorance is humongous! Olisa Metuh, Raymond Dokpesi, Sambo Dasuki, Andrew Yakubu Alhaji Bello, Yuguda are just a few of the cases in court. Teedawg: |
