This guy has a magnetizing personality. I pray he stays in the limelight for long.

By the way, this is how things should be in the country. Here is a Warri boy being celebrated by the state he grew up in. I hope when someone like him comes out to vie for an elective post, s/he won't be asked to go to Delta state.

I pray the same.

The love Jos has for its own is amazing. From the state government right down to the masses, everyone supported and voted massively for him.

The people here don't have a problem with a Christian settler vying for an elective post. Although this hasn't happened before. Everyone is first looked at as a Jos person before anything else.

Although they don't tolerate the Hausa/Fulani Muslims that much.

I understand why the Hausa/Fulani Muslims are kept at arm's length. But how did Ibrahim Mantu find himself in the red chamber?

Ibrahim Mantu is an indigenous Muslim from Mangu.

He had the luck of coming at a time when religion was a non-issue. There was that lack of mutual suspicion at the time.

People voted for him due to his charm and 'charisma' then. Had religion been factored in, he would have considered himself lucky to garner up to 8% votes in the Plateau Central Senatorial Zone, which happens to be my zone.
