It may not be that he lied but that failed clarify the particular time in life when he used one wrist watch for 27yrs. That's to say, may be it hsppened in his hustling days before he joined politics and necessarily during political office era.

That's not difficult to understand. I know of a very rich man who doesn't even wear any wristwatch at all.

Mr Peter Obi was merely being figurative in that expression. This does not call for any literal interpretation. Anyone who knows the man cannot deny his sense of conservative economy. Above all, his performance as a state governor was quite above average. One cannot deny that he raised Anambra State to a higher pedestal generally. Till tomorrow, he can talk with his head very high in any forum or platform. I can't resist admiring his sense of humour even with his shrill feminine audition.
