I think Mohammed would have had more followers. Jesus existed in a very fragmentes society with diverse religious views. Also, the kind of beliefs Jesus was espousing were considered heretical by the Jews, which made up majority of Jesus' society.

Interesting opinion. Solomon was powerful, extremely wealthy and influential, and if our current social media statistics are anything to go by, the wealthy and influential tend to have lots of followers.

But Satan isn't a historical figure. He/she/it is more or less a fictional figure.

it being fictional is subjective ... Not withstanding u can't ignore that "Satan" has played a role in many cultures across the world as an embodiment of evil ...so it is a historical figure fictional or not ...most religions obviously see a devil figure as the opposition to the good which they serve and will u not say religions play a major role in history?....

No need for the apologies. I should have clarified in my original post that by historical figure, I meant a notable human been that existed in the past.
