Hmmm, Hameed Ali strong head with his retroactive duty payment will cause a lot of problems, though I don't condone taking laws into your hand.

Duties should be paid at th borders an also make sure all cars must have genuine customs duties before registration that means anyone that has a fake duty will not regsiter his car, as such there will be no need for raids like the one that happened in kaduna

Oh! My God I love this, these people are bent on criminally surviving on the sweat of the poor hustlers, gold diggers who always rip where they did not sow. Wrong Country!

Some Customs Officers find reason to seize vehicles, then change the vehicle with another which is different.

For car dealers to organize and do this, the customs officers may have done wicked acts.

Bros forget that yarn buhari 's draconian economic policies has pushed alot of business to bankruptcy, what do you expect when hameed Ali decided to ban the importation of vehicles through land borders knowing that not everyone has the means to import through ships and to add to injury he has ordered his seize vehicles that were imported through land borders without consideration for these car dealers that are struggling in this recession .

Also security personnel are part of the problem. If Nigerians were to embark on protest na so these people cos uniform & gun dey shack them go beat and even use protesters for shooting practice.
The politicians have armed guards who wont think twice to waste the lives to protect these looters.
The revolution in Tunisia succeeded cos d military rather than repress the protest stood by to watch. The former president had to run away. Believe me if we ve that here Nigeria wud not be able to contain Saraki, Dino and all the goats eating our yams

For north? Question is who will put them in prison? Their brothers that are police or their brothers that are soldiers. They are totally different from our westerner law enforcement officers o. I Just came back from kano you need to go there. All ds VIO , road safety and police behave themselves. Those custom guys should know better. Where were they when they were crossing borders with those vehicles?

Very true. If say Na ABA boys or Niger Delta, govt would have sent customs to go burn down the whole town by now. Even some people would be happy with the actions of the Fed govt. The more deaths, the merrier
