Are pastors employed or ordained? I have not heard about pastoral Job opening before. I thought one is either called to be a pastor or ordained. Well if you seek the office of a bishop (pastor) go and pray let God direct your steps. you should have a church you attend as a christian. Get active there. I didn't say hustle for post oo. when you are active happily carrying out Gods work. If God is in support He will open the eye of your pastor and make you a minister. The work of a pastor is not like the secular jobs because you will b a Shepherd leading souls to heaven oh so spiritual. I preach in churches tho not official. When i was in school many liked the way i taught and preached the scripture and when i finished school some of my school frnds still call me to come and minister in their churches when they need me during youth programs and general programs. Ask the saviour to help you comfort, strengthen and keep you He is willing to aid you, He'll carry you through. It is well sir.

You can desire the office of a bishop (overseer), but not a pastor. The Lord calls people into the Pastoral office Himself. Sadly, some have become proffessional Pastors but that's wrong.

If there is a call on your life, the Spirit will lead you, starting from where you are.

Are you an ordained Pastor already? What happened at the church where you were a ordained a pastor? Why did you leave? Did the Lord ask you to leave? If yes, then there's no need for this thread cos he will lead you according to His plan. Otherwise, what went wrong?

Do you have a job where you earn a salary? That's important because people do not go into pastoring to make ends meet.

Important point. If its about ends meet,pls go and do business or get a job. But if its about ministry, just serve God in your local church . your responsibility will increase as you prove your faithfulness and consistency
