This is a country where government run down businesses with debt. I have an uncle who nearly died of high BP and had to convert his bus to a danfo just to survive just because he used his money to execute a contract for government.

The Nigerian government should stop harassing Ifeanyi Ubah Capital oil. They should reconcile with the company rather than intimidate the company with security operatives (DSS). NNPC owe Capital Oil and Gas millions of dollars running over N15 billion naira. If the DSS and the Nigerian government are sincere, they should reconcile accounts with capital oil and from that point they know who is owing who. The senate committee on petroleum should look and investigate this matter deeply without biase. Ifeanyi Ubah and Capital oil has helped this nation greatly at various times of great scarcity and industrial strike action by petroleum marketers.

This is a man who has invested heavily into this business inline with government policy. But this same government change her policy without considering investors.

Please the Nigerian government should reconcile with this company rather than strangulate it. As there is an adage that says "you can not bite the finger that feeds you".

This case should be seriously n fairly treated, if ubah is found guilty he should be punished appropriately, but one wonders why this kind of swift n stern action is not always seen when a Northerner is involved.

This is what i have be saying for long, that your ineffectual buffoon does not care to pay the joint venture cash call for 6yrs,to the tune of $6.5, which this govt has paid 1.5b since 2016,and nobody hear of the achievement of buhari govt.
