There are at least hundreds of Naija plate numbers across West Africa especially Accra and Cotonou.

What's big deal in that? Have seen a Ghanaian number plate even in Benin city. You are free to drive around ecowas states once you have their permit.

I'll take it that this is the first time Op is traveling to a neighboring ,hence the excitement. You're pardoned then.

Naija plate number full ghana roads plenty. You cant be on the road for 10 minutes without seeing one or two.

What is lawless there? some of us just make callous and careless statements. I have seen number plates from Togo, Ghana and Republic du Benin in Lagos. From what I understand, you are permitted to drive to ECOWAS states while retaining your number plates for a period of 90 days.

I live in Togo and most Nigerians here use naija plate numbers because Togo plate number is very expensive. Imagine buying a car for 3 million CFA franc and putting plate number with 1million CFA franc. That's why most naija people use the naija plate and just pay the lesse passe fee every year or so which is cheaper.
