Please, don't mind me derailing. Were the electrics plug n'play or you just ripped out all of the old one? Something like this is on my mind.

Plug and play but not easy. Requires indepth understanding of the Mercedes M104 wire chart.

For example, the car has three moudles and an electronic throttle body actuator.

I have done some other swaps notably on a BMW E30 where i deleted the factory M20 and replaced with a M50 single vanos..

A budget of at least 200k for this engine swap alone and that does not include labour.

The M104 is the best and last inline 6 ever made by Mercedes.

It was the best indeed, though trumped by BMW.
But I thought "labour" was you & parts would've been cheaper @ Owode, no?
