Nigeria previously held the 3rd position for the best performing institutions in Africa. A Recent chart shows that Nigeria has fallen significantly to the 26th position in the 2017 Africa Competitiveness Report released by the World Economic Forum last week.

Rwanda tops Africa’s best performing institutions, followed by Mauritius and Botswana, which have also been named in the list of 32 African countries assessed for the performance of their institutions.

Although, it was stated that the general performance of institutions in Africa was low “but is slowly improving.”

The report said the improvement witnessed in some countries although impressive, faced major setbacks including the inability of leaders to respond to the demands of the growing youth population.

Blame the imbecilic Buhari, lightning does not strike twice at the same place, in 1984, we went into recession 2016 another recession, the same illiterate caused it.
We elected a man who overthrew a democratically elected govt. If it is a sane environment, the man should be in jail for treason with all coup plotters, but this is Nigeria where we dont know our history.
If Buhari had not overthrown that govt. by now we would have by now strengthened all our democratic institutions, but here we are still struggling.
