How many of them do you have for sale?

only one left. But am expecting delivery of midnite 150v/96A next

Saipro:
I have a few new units of Midnite Classic 150 and Midnite Classic 250 KS (the one that charges up to 120VDC bank ergo 155VDC) up for grabs.

O8O396I2I47 is the number to call

Two units left

I also have three units of the regular Midnite Classic 150. They are leftover stock from an installation which had to be downsized. Brand new and still in their original packaging.

Good day friends.

Does anyone has a 48V Solar Charge Controller for sale? New or Used, PWM or MPPT.

Budget: Less than 50k.

You can try this out. Quite energy efficient.
Good luck.

so still on my quest for an energy efficient compact freezer, I decided to contact LG Africa to provide more details on their product,
their response was timely, but failed to answer my question
why is it that most customer care rep don't go the extra mile to answer customer questions

if lg stated the freezer consumption in kwh/yr on the website, it would have even made sense, as they don't usually state the wattage too.
guess one has to physically locate the product and read off these values from the sticker.

@javid4me, do you use that particular freezer, can you help me confirm the power consumption in wattage or in kwhr/yr

most 200amp batt is btw 110k to 170k...depending on type or where you are buying.
check konga, jumia, buyright.biz for prices

that freezer should consume around 120w cos this one https://www.mystore.com.ng/lg-chest-freezer-510/products/view/493 I bought for someone consumes 180w

reprobate,
don't rely solely on nameplate stickers or labels for energy consumption.
i'll rather suggest a more practical approach. why not use a watt meter to get actual power draw?
as we can expect, most of these manufacturers would rather post energy figures that makes
their products appear less power intensive than their competitors in order to gain market share.
using a watt meter will remove any doubt and beat them at their game!

Welcome to my world. I go through hell just to buy energy efficient appliance. I remember trying to get a washing machine. I spent days online looking for washing machine with watt or energy labels. I found zero. I had to physically go to the store (Game, LG, shop right, Park n Shop) and physically check the energy label attached to the devices before making purchase (pain of living green)

I am in the market for a fridge and I might consider one of the inverter fridge. If anyone uses one of those I would appreciate if you could share your experience and energy consumption.

yeah, that's the best approach, but not very practical in most shops.
I doubt the shop owner will allow you plug the freezer with your watt meter, unless he is enlightened or very very sure you would buy at the end.

I think in the western world, their govts are strict and you cant post spurious energy figures

funny enough haier thermocool complies with intl regulations, their freezers have energy consumption in kwh/yr, unlike LG scanfrost etc.
my target freezer is 365kwh/yr = 1kwh/day = 40w/day roughly. the smallest I hv seen close to the freezer type I want is 438kwh/yr....so the search continues, would have to make out time to physical go and check out the LG freezers in their stores ---yuck!!!!

meanwhile, this fridge is an inverter fridge, I have seen it in shoprite , it has a sticker bearing 28w, and some models I think accept dc input

in another news just observed that phcn have silently increased the energy tariff to 31.27/kwh from the 24.08/kwh it was before, against the directive of the senate against any hike!

Even that is dirt cheap by international standards.

I don't think the watt you are looking for is attainable presently. The one I bought for someone was tested with watt meter and I saw 180w after about 4hrs the consumption dropped to about 50w. For a 5ft freezer I think the consumption is okay and both runs 24 hrs on the inverter without complaint (2pcs one deep freezer and one fridge)

omo mehhn, really though the LG inverter fridges were super efficient, after seeing 28w sticker on one of them..
as per the freezer, guess I will go for either the 100w Samsung as stated by justin288 or go for the haier thermocool. Haier is a tried and tested name in cooling, lg and Samsung are just newbies...
make I go chk the price of Samsung, ..Samsung things sabi cost shaa.

@juo 50w after 4hrs, do you think the compressor kicked off?..if so methinks its high with compressor off.

also both LG and haier freezers claim to retain the cold/temp for 4 to 5 days after phcn is off, can someone confirm if this is true

Cycling loads (especially thermostat regulated ones) are really difficult to put an energy estimate figure on because they might consume their max nameplate rating till the thermostat kicks in (whenever that is). Then there's the surge to deal with each time they start up again.

I have a freezer which consumes roughly 360W on startup and 300W a few minutes later. From then on, consumption is highly dependent on how cool the interior is. Somehow, the more items frozen in it, the less energy consumed (seems somewhat logical), right up until the thermostat kicks in.

And manufacturers often list nameplate values for ideal operating conditions - oftentimes a far departure from real world conditions.

I have a 2 month used 60A Fangpusun mppt charge controller for sale at a giveaway price of 150k.
For that lucky chap, my used 220w mono solar panels, 6 pieces, are up for grab. 40k each(shipping not included).

Hello, this is same inverter compressor refrigerator I use and I must say its very nice .. It retains frost for long hours especially when you limit how you open n close its doors.. The difference between the sticker ratings and my watts meter readings isn't much.. Moreover after initial compressor start , its amazing how inverter dosnt feel much work load esp when compressor has worked for a while ... I do run mine 6-12hrs daily on my 1.5kva inverter- 2.4kw solar pv system (**compressor dosnt suddenly cut OFF/ON).. Cheers !

Inverter compressor dosnt stress you with that ON & OFF feature after initial start-up ! cheesy

My compressor starts with 50-70w , after sensing internal temperature, it gradually goes up to 0.82a MAX on my watts meter as it chills both fridge & freezer compartments .. It deviates from the 100w written on it after its soft start tho .. But has never reached 1amp draw on close observation . After gathering block in freezer & chilling for few hours , it slowly drops in power consumption from 0.82a to 58<>75w ! That's my brief analysis on the Thailand SAMSUNG !
