My Next project is on how to take measurements for a Ladies trousers or pants (Americans).

We are going to go through the following stages.

Taking the measurements

Drafting the pattern

Cutting the fabric

Sewing the trousers including inserting the zip in details.

TAKING MEASUREMENTS FOR THE FEMALE TROUSERS

Measurements needed:-

Waist
Hips
Knee
Ankle
Crouch level
Desired length of trousers.

Measurements taken standing.

The crouch level measurements is taken while being seated.

you don't need to talk about yourself like that.

Th next stage will be how to place your pattern on your fabric and cut, including the slide pockets. I will be using linen fabric.
