I would like to know the current price of concrete block of 6inches and 9inches respectively. I'm based in Lagos but other state prices are welcome (assuming they are different) Thanks.

Make inquiries in your location naa. Or you can get sand and mould yourself. You can get 35 to 40 blocks of 6 inches with a bag of cement.

UMUAHIA :

5 INCHES = 145 NAIRA
6 INCHES HOLLOW = 150 NAIRA
6 INCHES SOLID = 170 NAIRA
.9 INCHES HOLLOW = 170 NAIRA.

Depending on ur location and quality...for ordinary block: Abuja= 150 and 180 for 6" and 9" respectively on an average... Kaduna=140 and 170 Jos = 120 and 160 Jalingo = 100 and 130 Osun = 160 and 190 Lagos = 180 and 200 etc

The price of blocks is dependant on location, I.e the availability of 'sharp' sand to mould the blocks. Places like Bauchi, Jos, Gombe have prices ranging from 100-110 for 6" and 130-140 for 9", Lagos, Ogun and the likes ranges between 145-180 for 6" and 175-200 for 9", same can be said for PH, Asaba.

In Enugu, 6 inches block 100 naira per block without delivery, 120 naira with delivery.

It's better you buy sand, cement and gravel. It's cheaper if your brick layers do it for you. I think they are gonna realise 40 blocks per one cement (not so sure).

It really minimize cost and the blocks would really be appreciated when done.

Enugu, 110 and 130 for six and nine inches

9 inches goes for 2huns in IB...
6 inches will be between 160 - 180 naira

Rather than buying blocks why don't you consider moulding 'em? It costs less 2 mould ur blocks rather than buying

N180 for 6"
N200 for 9"


except its made from stone-dust (the prices cld be as high as N300)
