I've lived in Benin all my life guy. Where do you wanna call? Ugbowo, 3rd, evbotubu, ekehuan, Ogida, upper , Aduwawa abi na Ramat area? Benin or anywhere, that stat is just impossible. How can 9 out of every 10 young boys be cultists?

When I made my comment about Edo and Benin in general their people came after me. Rather than admit the fact and seek means of addressing the issue . Even when I'm travellin to the east I have never spent a night in that place. It's the home to prostitution, cultist and robbers who are very ruthless.

Oh dear, your claim is so fallacious. I am not sure where you generated your stats from, but I totally disagree with you. I was born, bred and even "buttered" in Benin and for the most part neither me nor the folks I moved with is affiliated to any cult. So, please get your facts right and don't misinform the public on issues you don't have a broad knowledge on.

Really? you are right it wasn't mentioned as his relative so the 18 years old could have been his relative besides the article did not specify what he was doing with the 18 year old.

what does dressing decently means? so if he was wearing a suit and tie it would have been justifiable him been in a company of an 18 years old. And oh! I believe nigerian weather is normally very hot so wearing thick clothing would have been uncomfortable, most nigerians men/women walk around either in shorts or almost nakid anyway because of the hot weather. i think your imaginations are a bit hysterical.

I served as a corper in Benin. That place is very unsafe to live especially if you have some cash. Many of their youths are unproductive, many of them get involved in cultism or internet fraud(Yahoo Yahoo), armed robbery is rampant and so fierce and their youths have a false definition of success. I pity the future of that state. Most of the government schools especially in the villages are so badly run and managed it will be better if the turn them to bakeries. Edo state should wake up.
