The fact regardless the Christian/Muslim nonsense you are talking about, we still a Christian governor which clearly shows that at the end of the day, religion doesn't define us and you can become a governor or attain any public office regardless of your religion which can never happen in your village religious hatred, bigotry and discrimination what you eat, breath and live by.

I don't see you as a people electing a Muslim or folks from other tribes outside your land into any political office simply because you are not socially matured and developed to do that.

Look at Fashola, he's a very progressive Muslim from a mixed religious background that you wouldn't even know he's Muslim unless he told you upfront. Awolowo, the first premier of the Western region was Christian. The Ooni, the cultural leader of Yoruba people is a christian. The VP with the second highest political position is also a christian. Their bigoted perspective can't cope with how Muslims and Christians could be allies, when in reality Yoruba identity stems from blood and brotherhood. They can never understand.
