Unfortunately, you never read the terms and conditions before completing your booking. If you had, you'll have seen.
That said, I'll advise you convert the cancelled quota to another use. That's a smarter deal for both parties, methinks.
The other part to it is if you know someone there, other than the "ever-courteous" customer service personnel, who would gladly help resolve your complaint.
There's certainly a way out.
But a refund? I doubt.

Its simple, go to their office and claim your money. Or you paid them online?

this was part of the things i was thinking would stop under this regime. but see where we are. once u will look at the stress and the amount u would want to give up... note that's what they are expecting to happen but don't give up.

You may have to read those terms and conditions of their booking and carriage. I think they have a policy of not refunding bookings made and paid for online. You may check to confirm this.
