The young mother of two Chisom Okereke, who died tragically on April 30th, 2017, while giving birth to her third child (who also died), has been laid to rest amid tears in Awka, Anambra state.. According to reports by her family members and friends, Chisom was abandoned and left unattended to deal with labour pains and other pregnancy complications at the Magodo Specialist Hospital...

She was said to have had two children at the same hospital before she went there to deliver the third which later turned out to be 'a great mistake. The doctors were said to have neglected her during labour, deceived the husband to go prepare for blood transfusion just to cover up their tracks while he was away...

The truth is that we need to fix our health sector because it's currently pay as you go abattoir being run by con artist Doctors who operate it like a Ponzi scheme where they use every means including unnecessary treatments and surgeries to milk thier patient before sending them to needless deaths

May Her Soul Rest In Peace And May that Hospital, Nurses,Doctor and whomever contributed to Her Death Have no Peace. Amen.

I jst kept staring at the pics over and over again....Sad how a young, and pretty soul died untimely! I just pray God gives her husband and family the fortitude to bear the loss.. Not to talk of her young kids.

Do doctors in Nigeria have insurance? Do we have a functional board that monitor their practices? After reading what happened to this young lady, I wept bitterly. Such don't happen in civilized places without consequences.

We need a sanitized system in Nigeria.

Nigeria is number 11 in the world when it comes to maternal mortality of every 100 000 women who deliver a baby 814 die during and after childbirth. All possible in a country where you can buy your qualifications and be free to call yourself a doctor if you have money.
