Should I Buy Skoda Octavia Or Not? by iykejazz(op): 10:45am On May 16, 2017
Hello guys, I am a skoda octavia fan though I have never driven one.
I am considering buying one(1.4 ltrs) petrol engine and manual gear.

Please what is the cost of maintenance like?
How efficient is the fuel consumption like?

Which year's model is the most rugged model?

Does anyone know where i can buy one in Lagos?

Thanks

But that is a big mistake
Just look at the world around you

Such wonderful things surround you
What more is you lookin' for?

if its your first car, stay away. Skoda is a knock down/off VW vehicles (cheap build quality), if you are passionate and good at figuring out things buy and use it to learn one or two things how cars work tongue

VW are good cars but the way Nigerians abuse them makes them unreliable. It is a golf 4 in disguise depending on year you are buying so maintenance has to be top notch especially the gear. Expect some electrical fault here and there.

Parts that could be expensive are doors, head lamps majorly outside body shell.

As a rule I did day stay away completely from a Nigerian used one except if it has a good maintenance history
