I think there is a lot of focus on counseling before wedding but little or nothing after. I think the transition phase from fiance/fiancee to husband/wife is a critical one. There should be a 3-6 months post wedding counseling programme to help the transition
Might help reduce divorce rates

it doesn't mean much, even after 6years marriage classes, couples who will divorce will. The assignment if you two are meant for each other should have been solved before marriage classes.
