@Lifestone I was merely making something I observed keenly over the course of my study of Nigerian history known... I wasn't trying to justify military incursion into politics. Am I clear sir?

I only saw names of Yoruba retired Generals.

They are giving protection to their son Osinbajo.
I hope that it is a sign of unity in their midst, which could translate to all out resistance if the Hausa/Fulani soldiers try any coup.

the question is, is what we are practicing here in Nigeria democracy? is this drama we hear and watch everyday in Abuja, from legislators to judiciary and to the executive democracyhuh??
of what use is this democracyhuh? how has this democracy impacted on the Nigerian masses positivelyhuh
these retired generals that are holding this country ransom , only cares about how to keep their oil blocs and pocket not running dry, they will not succeed.
don't be fooled cos they don't care about you! who democracy help?
How can democracy help those who are not helping democracy?
Did you or anyone you know donate money to any candidate for local government, state or federal legislative or executive elections?
Do you even know who your Councillor, state lawmaker, senator and representative are, talk less of writing a petition to them on issues?
Is that how people of the US, Canada, Britain etc behave so that they have functioning societies to attract us to even die there like that Ekiti actress and then spend extra money to repatriate their corpses?
Look before you leap.
Think before you talk.

Moi? Not me. I'm not a bigot. But I won't fold my arms and watch your people spit on my ethnic group. We've been through this discussion before right?

What's the point of hating someone whose region you can't keep out from.

FYI I meet a lot of you offline too in Naija, sw to be precise, and I know this hatred online spills to real life for you guys.

If Yorubas hate you in real life trust me you'd be given even worse than the Ife treatment.

We are indifferent really. But yours is active hatred.

If truly you're a woman, it is very unbecoming and unladylike of you.

But then, it's your choice. We all have to live with the consequences of our choices.

This guys think we are fools. Which politician will approach the military? PMB is still president and the northerners own the military so whose interest are they now going to fight for?

Make no mistake, the military will only strike if PMB does not make it and power does not go back to the north. Don't be fooled, these guys that are shouting are they ones hatching this plan B.

Dont mind them. Defending nonsense.
If the system is not working it will be changed one way or the other and that is a law of nature.
All of them from the president down, violating the constitution.

Because he paid $460,000 to settle his drug charges out of court.

...and you think after settling out of court, he would be able to visit the US afterwards? You think you can settle a drug charge out of court if they have evidence? You think you can be implicated on drug charge, settle out of court and still visit the US? You think you can still retain your Green Card after being sullied by a drug charge?

Yes oh to all your questions.
The $460,000 was negotiated by his lawyers to avoid future repercussions such as you have listed.

Guy, there is no education here; these are the same materials which have been online for quite a while now. My point here is, if there was actual direct link of Tinubu to those heroine deals he would not only forfeit the money he would have gone to jail and lost his Green Card. If you did some work for a criminal and he paid you and he's caught, the proceeds of the crime with which he paid you can be traced to you and you will forfeit the money; but you are not guilty of that actual crime. That is my point.
