LordAdam16:Even gowon and ibb with 9 years and 8 years respectively with absolute powers as military presidents from the North and with huge resources could not make Nigeria better let alone GEJ who spends only 5 years. |

Three Gbozas to the Acting President . This shows he really understand and appreciate our problems. The Bubu that says he wants to fight corruption does not seem to understand his expectations, rather than listen and take advise from his able lieutenant the Failed Abba Kyari held him hostage and prevents him to interface with the greater world. Do a really fault Kyari, he's a typical opportunist that understands the dynamics of power. KUDOS TO OSINBANJO. |

Who will monitoring these orders? Are CCTVs working in ports/airports Nigeria government good at giving orders, when done with reading those orders on papers, they all straight to slumber/sleeping. Osibanjo signed orders, what next? A country where government officials will sent their subordinates to streets for bribing will have balls to implementing these orders?

LordAdam16:You are right on this aspect - There is no single Nigerian that can be a 'perfect' president - They will all come with their flaws. Its high time we come to terms that we have problems with the followership, like we have with leadership. Travel on the streets of Lagos or Abuja or PH and see how self-centred our country men are. In a society where people worship self you should not suddenly expect to have a 'messiah' president. The orientation is warped. Like followers like leaders! OBJ came, saw and was conquered, so did GEJ. They may have had their good intentions but I really think Nigeria is tough to govern because the people are so fixated on themselves! |

omohayek:I don't really have the space to go through your response in the manner it yearns, however I will quickly address some of your points. We have privatised NEPA. Has that worked any magic? You mention Heathrow but you forget that NHS is still run buy the govt while health insurance in Nigeria is privatised. We have privately run companies that can't pay salaries nor their debts e.g Aero and Arik. So privatising is not a magic wand. Any president in a developing country that dives into full capitalist logic is stupid like Jonathan. Egypt copied the "floating" template that you suggested. I encourage you to compare inflation (Egypt 31%; Nig 17%), and FDI between Nigeria and Egypt before you confuse people further. You argue that Buhari does not favour free market and privatising. How about the planed concession of narrow gauge rail lines to GE? How come he hasn't cancelled the meaningless privatisation of the power sector? The real problem is that privatisation experience in Nigeria has always fallen short of expectations due to narrow interests, and any serious leader will be careful with that packaged as the almighty formula. Basically what you put up there as proof of your assertions lack robust analysis of the root causes while you have managed to impose your very short sighted opinion - laced this with a large dose of bias - as fact. So that statement is part of your evidence to malign El-Rufai. As an Igbo man I will say to anyone who sets out to kill Igbo people that there will be a reckoning. Does that make me a tribalist? Even after he clarified that he paid the injured parties to compensate them for loss of their cattle in order to allow peace reign; you are still part of the angry and adamant bunch castigating the action. When millitants were paid for peace to reign in the ND it was condemned by many (me too), and in fact one can condemn paying off agitators of any kind, but it will be unfair to term that approach ethnocentric or focus more on the act than on the intended outcomes. Dude, you are clearly intelligent and engaging but your views on these issues are extreme and your language too colourful. |

Best regards to LordAdam16 and Omohayek; it was quite a strong point put forward, as we know of Nairaland in the good old days. I will however like to add that some politicians are better placed governing a state or at the federal level. We have seen how Kaduna indigenes became pitted against each other just because their governor is seen to favour a side, so I doubt how he will fair governing a pot of hot and mixed condiments like Nigeria. He may fair well as a minister, cos of the nature of the job. Nigerian should be careful who they hand over power to in 2019, as we are seeing now that tribalism counts more than Nationalism. The statements of the NEF and ACF has shown that Nigeria can burn so long as a northerner is the President. The feeling of the Igbos are not also nationalistic. The yorubas are just guaging where to put their feet, hoping they won't declare their hidden intentions before nature gives them the Presidency. I will keep praying for a nationalistic leader in Nigeria, that's what we need. |

LordAdam16:I was enjoying your post till I got to the last 5 paragraphs. With all due respect sir, GEJ was an abysmal failure. He was a weakling who was too afraid to make tough decisions that could help the masses. Instead, He was more concerned with lining the pockets of his loyalists who constitute less than 0.5% of Nigeria's population. Believe it or not, if Yar Adua or Buhari had/have the same opportunities (age, good health, high oil price, etc) that GEJ and OBJ had, they would surpass the achievements of the latter duo. |

Martins301:What nonsense. If you read all five paragraphs and still say GEJ is a weakling, you have no use of your brain. Simply exchange it for akara balls. So removing fuel subsidy was not a tough decision. Privatizing PHCN was not a tough decision. Implementing BVN and IPPPS was not a tough decision. Allowing free and fair elections even if it meant losing PDP states was not a tough decision. The joke is on you mister. Who doesn't line the pockets of loyalists in Nigeria? The two saints you called Yar'Adua and Buhari did and are doing exactly the same. You want to compare GEJ and OBJ to Yar'Adua and Buhari? Is that supposed to be a joke? Are you drunk? Better stay off my mention if you don't want to feel sorry for yourself. You can say this nonsense when you are with your illiterate beer parlor friends or on NL threads where your bigoted ilks gather, but you dare not say it to my face or you'd receive the bashing of your life. Be warned and steer clear. -Lord |

LordAdam16:I though you had brains but now I'm certain your skull is filled with just dusting powder. You are what I'd call a myopic shortsighted analyst with a moronic mindset. No wonder the other guy rubbished you and your useless claims. So removing fuel subsidy was not a tough decisionI'm sure you're stupid enough to know that GEJ only removed subsidy partially. He had no balls to remove it 100% even when he knew that it was being used to defraud the government. The subsidy fraudsters were of course his cronies. Buhari on the other hand removed subsidy completely and heaven did not fall. That is what making tough decisions mean in case you are too fücked up in the head to know. Privatizing PHCN was not a tough decision. If you're not as stupid as your moronic hero, you'll realize that the whole process of unbundling PHCN then was a sham. Yes, GEJ privatized PHCN, but 4 years after, what has been the effect of such decision? Abysmal power generation, high electricity tariff, and extortion of consumers by the DISCOS who still operate estimated billings and have refused provide prepaid meters to consumers cos they know it will limit their fraud. It would have been a tough decision if GEJ had unbundled PHCN and handed over the assets to it's new owmers based purely on merit, national interest, technical and managerial expertise and possession of a solid capital base for investing in our power sector. But alas, your dumb weak hero made that decision based mostly on political expediency and so PHCN ended up in the hands of cronies and political allies who have no fvcking idea on how to solve our power problem but have unlimited ideas of how they can recover 50 times the meagre investment they made initially. Emeka Offor, Abdulsalam Abubakar, Ibrahim Babangida and Tinubu are some of those who have no IQ on how to solve our power sector problems but have vested interest in a lot of the DISCOS and GENCOS. Hope you're not too stewpid to admit that your hero was a spinless slowpoke? Implementing BVN and IPPPS was not a tough decision. If you classify implementation of BVN and IPPPS as tough decisions then you are monolithic zombie. How many Nigerians kicked against BVN and IPPPS? Allowing free and fair elections even if it meant losing PDP states was not a tough decision. Was Ekiti election free and fair? Have you forgotten about Ekitigate so quickly or are you just playing the dumb ostrich? If you're talking about 2015 elections, please get it into your fvcked up skull that PDP and GEJ were rejected because of what they stood for (crass incompetence and unbridled looting). If you like waste your time to quote me to type 10 pages of horseshit. I won't dignify you with any response cos your brain is full of emptiness. |

Martins301:Trash! And where is the "other guy [who] rubbished [me] and [my] useless claims"? He has sunk into oblivion. Unlike you, at least he sunk. You have always been a bottom-feeder. Or maybe, you can look at my reply to him and tell me how verifiable authority links are fake and their writers are corrupt. Why do I even have to respond to an egghead who thinks the success of privatization depends on who did the privatization? So, let me get things straight, it'd have been better if GEJ wasted billions of dollars on a sector that was a national disaster and had become the very poster-child of corruption? Oh look at the refineries sale that was stopped by Yar'Adua, how much have been spent on the repairs since 2007 and how are they functioning now? And while we are talking about the effects of privatization, please tell me how many new engineers were employed by NEPA/PHCN compared to the number of engineers employed by the DISCOS since 2014. Maybe you should also tell Buhari to pay the GENCOS and DISCOS the money they are owed by the FG and maybe you should stop complaining and stop paying one of the cheapest rate of electricity on the planet, or you should tell the buffoon called Fashola to have done something urgent about the meter problem since. When there are problems, you figure out solutions. Experts have been calling for the FG to do whatever changes need to be done to commence independent metering, yet Fashola is too far up the assess of the DISCOS and GENCOS to put a stop to their nonsense. Buhari wouldn't know what to do even if the solution was printed on a paper for him, so I won't blame someone who I should feel pity for. You are a complete waste pipe! And that my good friend is why you don't even deserve a reply. You are too far gone to be redeemed. You claim implementing BVN that ended the political elite ability to hide money in several accounts in plain sight and IPPPS that led to the discovery of tens of thousands of ghost workers wasn't a tough decision, but I guess when Buhari implemented the unpolished TSA, it was a tough decision. Just look at the stupidity you're showing on a public forum. I guess when Buhari the same man who campaigned against fuel subsidy removal and even said it didn't exist and Bakare, Tinubu, Akande, Fashola and their minions who where the same people who campaigned against it with fanfare were now asking for the removal, that is such a tough decision isn't it. You no even get shame? Why did Buhari remove it eventually after swearing just few months prior that he would NOT remove it. Chicken-livered sh*t of a person and you want to compare that monumental disgrace who is being tossed around by ordinary Saraki to GEJ. Go and soak your hands in anointing oil, your blasphemy is unforgivable. So, the Edo election wasn't free and fair? Or you have short memory now... Opposition parties won more elections under GEJ than under any democratic president in Nigeria including the vegetable foreign-based madiot. If that's not as free and fair as it has ever gotten in Nigeria, what else do you want? Oh, we should have had the do-or-die pattern of OBJ? Bunch of demented nonsense you write and you feel you are smart. Reply me again, you'll hate yourself. Rubbish!!! -Lord |

LordAdam16:So Soludo who your revered Omohayek thinks will be a perfect president is not a bigot? Same Soludo that supports Nnamdi Kalu's parochial pursuits in the name of Igbo emancipation? In case you don't know yet Kalu is also a sworn hater of any group not associated with Biafra. How then is Soludo less of a tribalist than El-Rufai except the fact that he is Igbo and Igbo's are "not" ethnocentric. Yeah right! Let me be the one to break it to you, Sir: every Nigerian thinks his group first. So to that extent we are all ethnocentric. Meaning you should shove your NL validation of crass stupidity where the sun don't shine. You can carry on with you NL d*ck measurement with whoever you please but that amounts to nothing if your world view is so narrow. To make matters worse you are a even wailer, which means that you are an intellectual midget. |
| Re: Osinbajo orders 24-hour operations at Apapa Port by LordAdam16: 4:20am On May 21, 2017 |
DelGardo:Wait for Omohayek, or can't you read. We are talking about el-Rufai. You said he is not a bigot. Whether Soludo is or is not a bigot does not affect the fact that el-Rufai is a bigot. Both are mutually exclusive. If you want to talk about Soludo, we'd drop el-Rufai's case and we'd talk about Soludo. Use your brain, it is not a fancy organ positioned for aesthetic purposes. Use it to reason. I'm just giving you a primer as to what you'd receive. But as I've said, wait for Omohayek and reply him when he comes for your head. We'll have our day when he's done with you and you're still willing to play ball. I mean look at the pummeling you received with links and everything, and you were just replying with a bunch of random sh*t that was just slowly deepening your grave. And referring to wailers as intellectual midgets is the worst joke I've heard all year. I mean wailers aren't the ones who voted for a demented fossil with factory-fitted idiocy whose failures are too numerous to count. I mean I've been a wailer before people like Tinubu, Obasanjo, Ezekwesilie, Soludo, even el-Rufai started wailing. Who is the intellectual midget now? Everyone knows Buhari is a failure. Even the f**lish artisans that were screaming Sai Baba in 2015 knows that, but somehow the kool aid that was resetting the brains of zombies missed you. Your case is very special. Your m*mu don don. Let me repeat with simple English since it appears that you have acute comprehension problem. Wait for Omohayek's reply, it's your main discussion. When he's done with you, and you still think you can take more beating, I'll be here to fulfill your last wish. Don't jump the gun. Pretend to be learned even if you are not. -Lord |
| Re: Osinbajo orders 24-hour operations at Apapa Port by LordAdam16: 5:00am On May 21, 2017 |
romme2u:I'll eff up the ones that matter. Everyone can see through the facade of the obviously demented zombies running around. I mean, look at Sarrki and co. They've lost all their cred. The GEJitivitis virus has lost its potency. I mean there was a time when GEJ was said to be the worst ever, now Buhari has taken that position convincingly. And as each day pass, the rebooting would continue. Immediately after OBJ's tenure, many said the military was better than his administration discounting all the progress he made. 10 years on, no one dares make that comparison. I mean this time 2 years back, Buhari was a super star. Yet we'd never stopped saying he was a failure. All political threads then was all about the arrival of the messiah. Slowly, we changed the discourse and proved the fellow to be a failure and made regret permeate the space. From being brandished as a savior, they changed to Buhari may not be performing as hoped but he needed time. When that got tiring, they switched to he may be under-performing, but he was still better than GEJ. Then it became, he is just as bad as GEJ, but GEJ had it better. Now, it is Buhari is worse than GEJ, but GEJ made it difficult to vote for him in 2015. All in a space of 2 years. The Western media never stopped their propaganda for a second, yet the prevailing opinion changed appropriately to represent the reality. But it isn't over yet. GEJ said he'd be celebrated after he left office, only pockets of that has happened. I mean Fashola celebrated his efforts on roads. Adesina was praised for Agriculture. Just last week Amaechi finally admitted that GEJ had almost completed the rail they were photobombing as an achievement. And just days back an APC legislator said the Buhari regime was riding on GEJ's policies. Those are just a few, but more is coming. They know it. They can feel it. And all of this nonsense you see on NL is their last ditch attempt to stall it. And it is failing... badly. So, sit back and enjoy the ride. Better days are ahead. -Lord |
