Awolowo introduced tribalism as a factor in our polity.

Herbert Macauly a Yoruba man was the leader of the NCNC which won the 1953 parliamentary elections. The NCNC was at the forefront of the independence movement with individuals like Azikiwe.

Before the Parliament was inaugurated , Herbert Macauly died of natural causes. This then made Zik to be automatically ghe leader of the NCNC and head of the Nigerian Parliament.

Awolowo with his sectional tribal party, AG will then encourage all Yoruba parliamentarians elected under the NCNC to defect to the AG stating that an Igbo man should never be allowed to lead the parliament.

I wasn't and still not a Jonathan fan as far as leadership is concerned but i sure admire his other traits. He's a wonder. Great man.

what is there to argued? That a governor give farmers wheelbarrow is now a crime, and that a President appointed a trusted security personnel is now also a crime?

What baffles me is how people merge three regions to one simply to score political point e.g; NW, NE & NC. All the positions Remo post are not converge in PMB home region which is the NW.
