This recently created a tense argument between my friends... when they came to me and presented the the question...,, i was just dumbfounded because i know how confusing english language can be sometimes...
so am bringing this down here because i know we have erudites here on Nairaland who can really shed more light on this and tell us the right sentence to use...
So Nairalanders.. which is correct between this two... "Clap for him/her" or "Clap him/her"

well, that was harsh...still doesnt reduce the fact that you are trying so hard to accumulate likes which is even not forthcoming..... You took my simple error to ur advantage but yet you sound so horrible and disgusting....

..wen u say 'clap for' clap is a verb y for is d preposition wc accompany d verb 2 add more meaning 2 wat is said...so i concor with clap for and agn u 'clap for' som1 dat is d right preposition 2 use.
