To Someone Who Can Help, Please I Need Help!!! by Opeyemiebun: 7:11pm On May 24, 2017
My name is Opeyemi, i am a graduate and i have B.eng in Civil Engineering.
I have great leadership skills which won me a merit award during my NYSC days.
I am versatile with the use of Ms.( word, excel, powerpoint).
I have good communication skills.
I also have great commercial skills which was enhanced when i functioned as a customer care agent and also doubling as sales supervisor.
I am good with the use of autocad.
I am adept to new ideas and can work under little or no supervision.
I have over a year experience managing sites (both building construction and road construction)
I have really tried to avoid calling on to people for help as it isn't a part of me, i have always believed in hardwork and being responsible for something but i remember an adage which says HE who keep quiet has his problems unsolved.
After my graduation in 2014, i had high hope of securing a good job either in engineering or administrative firm/company after my service year.
Lo and behold, i finished my youth service last year April knowing fully well i have a mum who just retired as a teacher at home and a father who also isn't working. I made some savings and i began to jump from one interview to another but all i keep hearing is the usual word " WE WILL GET BACK TO YOU"
My years of experience wasn't helping either being a fresher with I.T and few works as experience.
Infact, there was a day i went for an interview and the CEO was saying to the HR as i was leaving that she likes me because am sharp but the HR response was " YES MADAM BUT HE HAS NO EXPERIENCE"
That was all i heard concerning the job till date.
I decided to try masters and after obtaining the form, i was offered admission and i sold my phone to pay for the acceptance fee but my parents were sincere with me that they won't be able to afford the fee.
Please fellow nairalanders, am open to any job offer or means of assistance to secure a job as am tired of wasting time without adding value to myself and the society.
I really believe i have the needed skills both soft and hard to add value to any firm/company/institution or organization that has a place for me.
Thank you all
