I chose university of Ibadan last year but wasn't admitted because my 8year old WAEC result has Cs in my core subjects.
I chose LASU as second choice but wasnt admitted too.
The UTME score of 308 just wasted.

I have just gotten 305 in this year's UTME again but I dread wasting it like last year's.

I need medicine admission. Kindly suggest federal or affordable state universities where my chances of admission is pretty high with the available grades and scores.

Again if you are someone or know someone or know someone that knows someone who can help. Kindly prevent this long conceived dream from dieing.

In my own opinion: I suggest jamb should fall​ back to the previous state. I.e post UTME to cancel the cheapest exam(WAEC) people are scoring A's Parallel. I believe only private schools students have better WAEC results.

Honestly don't waste your time just rewrite waec or gce.. You have a really good utme result. God bless

Don't choose UI if you don't ave A's and B's in your waec result....try less competitive state universities

Best advice
medicine is de same in every school, although most people prefer UCH over others due to Alumni support, Equipments and standard, even if u attend absu u can be better than someone from UCH. Therefore i suggest u choose; 1. uniben except for 8yrs of de course and i know u are no longer a kid, it depends on u though.
2. Unical,Uniuyo,Uniport: Among de easiest to get mbbs.
3. Unimaid,Unijos,Buk,etc: If u can survive de emergencies.
4. All mdcn accreditated state and private uni: Get ready for their elephant tuition.

Well, If its actually your passion and God's will you become a Doctor, I can only wish you the best.


But to be honest with you, you may probably be making more than a decent living if you had opted for another discipline, especially computer-related or Engineering

BroZ, dont waste your time looking for medical courses with that your C ridden waec result, you won't get one. Not with this new system still on ground.


Better you go re enroll for another waec or put in for lesser competitive courses like agric, pure science or management courses

It's not really that easy bro....only saw one successful change of course all my stay in school....you must be mouthed before you can achieve that ....or maybe you broke the CPGA history of your given course ....

Or go for an easier course cos after 8 years i doubt u still have time on ur side.
Or u can write another waec, im positive you should be able to make As and Bs.

in your best interest please choose OOU medicine. One of the best state universities in medicine and law. U will never regret.

U should have written waec gce in my own opinion. Its more stressful i know but it will be worth it. My brother did the same thing and he's reaping d rewards
