This is bad for football.
Real madrid currently dominates elite accomplished talent purchase . And now they have decided to perpetuate their dominance by moving to galatico signings of the best prodigious young talents that money can buy to forestall their eventual decline.
Pretty ingenious. Imagine real madrid snapping up the next neymar, hazard, kross, Ronaldo, messi, e.t.c. with a combined allure of stupendous monies and the madrid star power.
How does the rest of the footballing world survive ?

Man United will still trash them 3 goals to nil tongue

Official: Real Madrid Sign The Most Expensive Young Talent In The History Of Football

Spanish champions Real Madrid and Flamengo have authoritatively made an official agreement for Brazilian prospect Vinicius Jr, with the youngster set to join Madrid in June of 2019.

At no other time had a club made such a payment for a 16-year-old, and his games performances at a high level are as yet a riddle, as he didn’t make the first team debut for Flamengo in the Brazilian league until the 14th of May.

The Brazilian kid beat records set by Neymar and Gabriel Jesus to end up plainly the most youngest footballer to ever play in the Brazilian league. By then, he as of now had the top clubs pursuing him.

Spanish Champions Real Madrid have beat off competition ahead of every other clubs to sign Brazil’s latest prospect, But, Vinicius will remain in Brazil until July 2019, however, he will have the allow to play for Real Madrid before that if both clubs concur to the agreement.

Real Madrid in an official statement on its website said “Real Madrid C. F. and Clube de Regatas do Flamengo have reached an agreement regarding the transfer of the federative rights of the player Vinicius Junior from July 2018.

“The player will remain at his current club until July 2019, although he will be able to play for Real Madrid before then if both clubs agree to it.”

The sum paid by “Los Blancos” totally breaks the transfer market. fellow Brazilian forward Pato was the most costly young star up to this point, as AC Milan bought the then-17-year-old striker from International for 22 million euros, in 2007.

In 2006, North London club Arsenal paid Tottenham 10,5 million euros for Walcott, who was just 16 at the time, and Real Madrid winger Gareth Bale was transferred before turning 18 from Southampton to Tottenham. Spurs cough out a sum of 14,7 million euros for speedy Welsh man.

He's most likely 16, he's a wonder kid from Brazil and has just been signed by the biggest club in world football history, c'mon do you think Madrid would be that dumb to gamble on him if he ain't the said age? I know age cheating is prevalent in Brazil too but not as much as in Africa or Asia.

They may have been monitoring the dude since age 7 or 8.. Freddy Adu, the Ghanian-American wonder kid was 14 when the whole world knew him then, dude's given over a decade in football and still only about 27, lol.. What about that Gomes guy who came to synagogue for healing? Do you doubt he's 16 also? Saw and old pix of himself, Nani his uncle and CR7, he was a kid of about 6/7...

Vinicius is most probably 16 bro.

After the failure of Odegaard and Illaramendi and with the success of Morata, Vasquez, Asensio, Carvajal and Casemiro I thought Madrid will change there policy and stop big spending on youth which has failed most times.

The football world now is all about money and once u dont hav money u cant compet. i always laugh when i see people saying that bundesliga is a shitt league cos Bayern always win it. My borther why wont they win it when they are always busy hunting for their opposition talent to snap. There is no way a team can compet in 21st century football without money. What small teams does now is to nurture players for bigger teams to buy.

Brazilian league have always been scamming LA Liga since time immemorial... They hype up their players and scam LA Liga into paying incredulous fees for dem.. Madrid quickly paid up to avoid d Neymar situation.. I hope he doesn't end up like Keirrison, Douglas and Robinho who faded into oblivion after all d hype...

Odegaard and Illaramendi were young big money buys that flopped big time for Madrid, but the later mentioned are all youth team graduates and are doing very well.
In football I have noticed that young players that are hyped and are bought for big money are very likely to fail.

Odegaard is not a failure, he simply needs to improve aspects of his game.....That's why he was sent out on loan.

How do you expect illara to prosper when modric and kroos (best midfielders in the world) are fit. Illara was good and could control the game a little but he could never make the eleven. He also loved back passes.

Odegaard can still improve but I have been watching him at Hereveen, he doesn't start much, him making it in Madrid is increasingly doubtful.
Illara couldn't cut it at Madrid simple, and was sold back, as harsh as it may seem his adventures at Bernabau was a failure.
