Hello nairalanders, my toshiba hard drive just stop responding. If I plug it to my system, it displays "Local disk" and when I try double clicking on it, it takes forever then an error will come up saying "parameters are incorrect" I tried running chkdsk on command prompt but displaying "invalid parameters" and even tried formatting but it won't. What can I do cos I have lot of important documents in it?

Have u tried this command
Type attrib -s -h -r /s /d and press enter

Once it displays ur drive with the blinking prompt, it means your drive can be recovered. If it stills displays the error message, I don't know how else to help u

After I type the command on command prompt, it gave me a long list of result with "Access denied" as th beginning of each result, then the last thing it displayed is C:\WINDOWS\system32>. What else should I do
