Islamically, having a girlfriend/boyfriend is haram, though, the food itself may be haram due to it's source, and it may be halal due to it being food.. ..so, it may be haraamun-ligairihi( haram due to what is associated with it)..

The only thing these guys think about during Ramadan is food. Food, Food, Food! You begin to ask yourself what's the point of starving fasting. I'm not talking only Nigeria here I've been chanced to spend some time in an African Arab country during Ramadan. You need to see the way the trolleys are packed full with food by customers in the supermarkets during Ramadan. Starting Work hours is shifted from 8 to 9a.m and closing from 5/6 to 4/5p.m. Everyone acts lazy and put the blame on fast.

There's nothing special in the fast as they only miss one meal in a day which is lunch, most people who work already miss a meal in a day. Iftar and sahur is met with lots of food binging!

lolz very funny you are, you said the only thing Muslims think about in ramadan is food and we miss just a meal(lunch) in a day and call it a big deals. well, ramadan is compulsory for every Muslims, it doesn't matter how long or how many times we don't eat in a day or week, the most important thing is to follow what the Quran and hadeeth says.
so you saying it is only lunch Muslims miss, is like you trying to judge how religious a person is based on how long he could stay without food.
it is compulsory for Muslims to eat sahur and should break his fasting at appropriate time not him trying to show how strong he is by doing 2 or whatever day fasting, it is the sunnah and it has to be followed.
my question now is, your own fasting is that how your holy book says you should fast? because I know you are not a Muslim.

It is all semantics. Use of boyfriend and girlfriend could mean fiancee and fiance to some and for others it could mean, the usual casual relationship.

1. Just because some people think of food does not mean everyone thinks of food. It shouldn't be all about food in Ramadan. Ramadan is about discipline and if one cannot discipline himself during Ramadan, he definitely needs to fix him/herself. From my experience, moderation during iftar and sahur have always been encouraged, it is left for individuals to follow through.

Choosing to do an act does not mean I will not find the act draining.....Your logic is flawed man.

2. People do skip lunch all the time, however there is always a noticeable difference in Ramadan and that includes energy to carry out certain activities. I know people who don't do 1-1-1 but Ramadan gets to them and there are those who are not affected at all.
Ramadan is not a time to be lazy however it does not mean encouraging physically drain ING activities.


Besides, if you don't subscribe to my faith, why are you so obsessed with it? You can Waka pass, you know?

I've been seeing more n more muslims who have boyfriends n girlfriends. One should be in a proper courtship. It will provide protection for your virtue. Cooking for someone gives one a false expectation about the relationship.
