So 50 years after independence, we cannot produce our own tissue papershuh

I have also said it before, we need recolonization! The lessons we learned from them have either faded or maybe we didn't learn anything at all.

Before you quote me to say rubbish, tell me one thing Nigeria has ever done right since the white man left, tell me one value we have ever added to this nation since we became independent undecided Otherwise, I won't respond to you
Nigeria has many toilet roll factories but small and large.

They probably didn't venrure into tissue production because the domestic market is not viable enough or due to high cost of funds lest AMCON seizes them.

You need to remember that many manufacturers abroad don't only sell to their local markets but export a large portion overseas.

You are right. The roads at Agbara Estate needs total rehabilitation but then from what I heard work may commence fully next month. Ogun state is too big for amosun to handle alone.

If it was news about Obiano signing MOU with a foreign company, you will start dancing skelewu here o.
You are drowning in so much hatred. So much it takes away your peace of mind and sleep. I bet you don't sleep well at night.
Olukat:
You haven't prove to me how much Ogun state government invested in that factory.
Obviously the land was bought and paid for by the Turkish investors.
One of the problem of our youths today is ignorance and inability to understand their environment.
While appreciating the investors and Gov. Amosun contribution to the factory, it is totally wrong for anybody to insult or
mock Gov. Wike as regards to the project.
Your insult means nothing to me though! #Mumu!

What employment have you created? If you have done something back in your own village, you will not be seeing directionless and vision less able bodied men carrying flags and shouting Biafra on a Monday morning
For those people, it may not be where they want to be but it's better than where they were before the employment.

BABATOPE AGBEYO AND HIS ORIGINAL MATHEMATICAL INSTRUMENTS

Babatope Agbeyo, CEO of Cornfield Transnational Limited, a parent company to Media Concept International and Botosoft Technologies recorded a major milestone through the development of intellectual patented property known as KAPTEK set of mathematical instruments with an in-built scientific calculator.

The calculator is a non- programmable computer having in excess of 400 functions and is manufactured with examination and/or learning situations in mind. Such a computer, particularly one for use in examination conditions, will be silent with no audio or noisy keys, cordless in the sennse of not being dependent on a mains power supply, and including dry nonprogrammable batteries. The computer will preferably have no facility for a magnetic card input ‘or plug-in modules of program instruction. The product seamlessly has the capacity to help examination bodies like WAEC, NECO, JAMB etc, to curb malpractices.

Moreover, the instrument case includes no calculator secured to or built into its lid. In this embodiment, the entire upper surface of the instrument case is transparent. The side walls and base of the instrument case is transparent. One main advantage of instrument cases in accordance with the invention is that they assist invigilators in preventing examinees from carrying into an examination unauthorised items.

It can encourage the establishment of infrastructural investment/investors to handle industrial clusters on a PPP basis to ease the pressure on public finance. If the model roots, believe me, it will be the spring board for an industrial revolution. But public officials and politicians are attracted to money like bees to pollen and won't let such things happen.
Re: Amosun Commissions $100m Factory(photos) by Reference(m): 12:25pm On May 27, 2017
If government were to say for instance Company A, build the infrastructure in that area and we will share the tax coming in from that cluster for the nect xyz years, I am certain financial institutions will lend a hand. Then government finances are freed up to go start another industrial area. Or it can mandate companies presently handling its infrastructure to maintain those in that industrial zone as a precondition for accessing new contracts.

Man, if I were ever to be governor I will get all my jobs done without even touching my budget. All the clowns and phonies will take to their heels.

Musiwa419:
WTF!? a $100Million investment is nothing reasonable. Is it the ibo baby factories that are littered all over iboland that is reasonable?
Seems your sponsors need to ask for a refund from those who supposedly gave you an education.

I said there's nothing reasonable about Ogun state that you people are foaming in the mouth about foreign investors coming there.

It's just proximity to the port and cheap land and labour.

Not the investment in itself.

You can't Imagine the Kind of Bad road that leads to Lusada/Igbesa free trade zone and Agbara ,here we have the Largest Industrial Estate in Ogun state probably the the largest in the West .Revenue realised by the Government in those Areas are very high but its a Pity that the Road is an eye sore ,Just drive from ATAN to Agbara for the first time you will not dare to drive that path with your Vehicle again .There have been several call on Radio to the Government to please come and Construct the Road ,Put it in a good shape all no to Avail ,Recently some Demolition was done at Lusada Market Area people are still wondering what its about to be done for Campaign strategy or to Repair the Road .Time will Tell .The inhabitants are suffering, Trailers and long Vehicles with heavy Goods from the Factories fall often on the Road .This is an Appeal to the Federal Government to Please look into this.
