You ppl should stop this "have u been to anabra or abia (Aba precisely, because the rest of abia is damn empty, not even umuahia)"...
I have been to both and there is nothing in both places, compared to ogun state.
How many made in anambra/aba products are in the market compared to the made in ogun products?
Most of the fake products that are called made in aba are actually imported, the real made in aba products are durable and last longer.
Clearly you know not what you speak of. That the manufacturers set up plants in your vicinity doesn't make it made in Ogun state.

Please stop embarrassing yourself like this

You might as well claim mtn dstv and airtel whilst at it. Oh so you now believe Milo maggi and other nestle products are what? Products of ogun state because they have factory in agbara?

Who did this to you?

So 50 years after independence, we cannot produce our own tissue papershuh
We? Are you not part of the "we"? What stops YOU from manufacturing tissues in your backyard? It is not govt's job to manufacture tissue. It's your job. You are in the private sector.

By the way, next time use ur head. Don't assume that because a company comes in to manufacture tissues, It means that no company is already manufacturing them here.

I have also said it before, we need recolonization! The lessons we learned from them have either faded or maybe we didn't learn anything at all.

Before you quote me to say rubbish, tell me one thing Nigeria has ever done right since the white man left, tell me one value we have ever added to this nation since we became independent undecided Otherwise, I won't respond to you
At independence, literacy rate was 10% compared to 75% today. At independence we had not one university. Compared to almost 200 today. At independence we had not one major industry, and no manufacturing sector. Today we manufacture chemicals, vehicles and computers. Not even a single stadium was built by the colonialists. Not one expressway. Not one power station. So what exactly did ur colonial masters teach you? And why would you want them back when they did NOTHING in their 70 years in power in ur country? Why was your country an undeveloped bush at independence in 1960 despite the fact your white masters ruled it for 70 years straight? And exported your resources - cocoa, palm oil, groundnuts, tin, timber, zinc, iron ore, rubber, coal...for 70 years. What did they do with all the money? Name me one major hospital they built. Mr colonialist lover. Don't go and ask them for your money. Ask instead for more ra.ping. ...smh.

Seems your sponsors need to ask for a refund from those who supposedly gave you an education.

I said there's nothing reasonable about Ogun state that you people are foaming in the mouth about foreign investors coming there.

It's just proximity to the port and cheap land and labour.

Not the investment in itself.
What is this one saying?

Amosun Commissions $100m Factory

To Provide 3,000 Jobs

Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, has called on corporate organizations in the state to collaborate with the government in the area of infrastructural development.

The governor stated this recently while commissioning a $100m factory owned by Hayat Kimya Nigeria Limited in the Agbara axis of Ogun State.

Describing Ogun State as the investment destination of choice in Nigeria, Governor Amosun said the Turkish factory has the capacity to generate over 3,000 direct and indirect employment.

While assuring that the state government was not resting on its oars in the area of infrastructural development, Governor Amosun informed that contractors have been mobilised back on the Agbara-Atan road which leads to the factory.

He added that the Ogun State government would continue to provide enabling environment for businesses to thrive.

In his remarks, Managing Director of the company, Mr Hakan Misri, said the establishment of the factory in Ogun State reflects the Turkish confidence in the resilience of the Nigerian economy.

He also appreciated the Ogun State government for creating the enabling environment for the company to operate.

Signed

When I saw your moniker, I fought myself not to reply you.
But one very important thing I must say: Over 200 universities you say? But even your paymasters, who double as your leaders, do not believe in even one of those universities? Do they send their children to any of them? Do they not still run back to their colonial masters for proper education of their kids? What is the highest rank we have gotten to in African Universities ranking for a start? Its not by number, universities are opened in the backyard in Nigeria. Talk quality and you may have a point. What is the quality of even you almighty UNN, UI, UNIBEN etc. Last week the VC of UI was in the US for his son's graduation. Stay here and be screaming "rap.ing" when you cannot properly define it.

Cheers!
