Is It Permissible To Skip Ramadan Due To Nature Of Ones Job? by bjbukzy(op): 4:44pm On May 28, 2017
Salam alaeikum brothers and sisters.
Pls i ve a very important question that needs immediaiate and a very knowledgeable response.

My mum sells drinks (softdrink) to all this road side hawkers and there are muslims among them. During ramadan period, most of them dont fast because of the nature of their job as it is very difficult.

Is it permissible to skip the fast due to their conditions and also how can they pay back the skipped fast.

Note: most of them dont rest up to 30 days a year as that is their only source of feeding, and i'm nt sure they can feed the needy for sixty days.

If they reduce their exposure time per day, for the whole of Ramadan, it wouldn't kill them, nor will they not make sales at all..They should just do it for Allah..For indeed he is the most merciful

to be truthful, i would ve said dt also, but lemme give u a detailed analysis of their situation..
90% of the women u see hawking are the soleprovider of their family, the gain there is very minimal. in a day, the highest gain they can make is #1000(maximum). And their husbands dont support the family.
They dont have options but to do this.
