Please Nairalanders in agric section, i need your help. I have a million naira at my disposal and i want to know if it can set up a poultry farm for egg production.

By the way, i already have an acre of land i plan to use for this. Please, i need answers from people who are already into the business. Can a million be enough to set up a small poultry farm, and if so, how much returns can one start to make in about 6 months?

yes you can all depends on your capacity and what other things you have on ground other than the acre of land.

Please can you break down all i would need? I can get another half a million. I just need to know the profit i can poasible make if i have a poultry with like 1,000 layers.
